On June 27, you will depart Memphis to begin your European adventure, landing in the timeless city of Budapest to discover its hidden treasures. Cultural encounters, the Passion Play, preserved historical sites, delicious food and wonderful shopping make this trip exciting and rewarding.

BUDAPEST
June 28 – July 1, 2022
On June 28, you will arrive in Budapest, Hungary, where you will be met and begin to enjoy this beautiful city. June 29 begins with a guided city tour*, points of interest that you will see include the Great Synagogue, Great Market, Heroes’ Square, the Baths, St. Stephen’s Basilica*, Opera House*, City Park and Parliament*. A fun folklore dinner and show* is planned for this evening. On June 30, you cross the river to Buda where your guided tour* will include Matthias Church* and Fishermen’s Bastion*. This evening you will embark on a boat tour* down the Danube River.
VIENNA
July 1 – July 3, 2022
The morning of July 1, you will begin your Austrian adventure as you arrive in Vienna. Upon arrival you will experience a guided city tour* including St. Stephen’s Cathedral* and Imperial Treasury*. This evening you will enjoy a concert at the Kursalon*. On July 2, a day trip to Melk Abbey* is planned. A fun dinner at a Heuriger* in Neustift is arranged as you return to Vienna.
SALZBURG
July 3 – July 6, 2022
Your tour continues July 3, as you arrive in Salzburg. En-route you will stop at Mondsee to see the church featured in the Sound of Music movie. Additionally, stops at other Sound of Music sites will be visited including Hellbrunn Palace*. A Guided Walking Tour* of Salzburg is arranged for morning of July 4. Your afternoon is free for a day of exploration and souvenir shopping. A day trip to Berchtesgaden* and Hitler’s Eagle’s Nest* is scheduled for July 5.
OBERAMMERGAU PASSION PLAY
July 6 – July 8, 2022
As you travel to your Passion Play Hotel, on July 6, you will have time to explore the village of Oberammergau and a Tour of Linderhof*. July 7, plans include free time in the morning as well as the Passion Play Program* in the afternoon and evening.
ROTHENBURG OB DER TAUBER
July 8 – July 10, 2022
On July 8, your adventure continues as you travel to Rothenburg. A stop at Neuschwanstein Castle* is scheduled en-route. A Guided Walking Tour* including St. Jacobs Church* is your morning itinerary for July 9. The afternoon offers you free time to visit the many stores and museums in the village.
Frankfurt
July 10 – July 11, 2022
After free time in the morning of July 10, you will travel to your Frankfurt Hotel. Bring tales of your exciting European adventures home with you when you return to the United States on July 11.

Trip price is based on twin occupancy and includes round trip airfare from Memphis, point-to point transportation between cities while in Europe, all breakfasts and 9 dinners (Includes Folklore Dinner and Heuriger). In the unlikely event that EA Tours cancels the tour and is unable to operate a substitute itinerary, the tour cost including a portion of your deposit may be refundable. Included are the estimated applicable governmental international airline ticket taxes, fuel surcharges security surcharges, and associated fees. PLEASE NOTE: At the time of the printing of this brochure, the Hungarian government mandates that, in order to gain-entry into museums, shops/stores, historic sites, restaurants, etc., proof of full vaccination be shown. As a result of this governmental regulation, in order to participate on this tour, all tour participants are required to be fully vaccinated. In Europe fully vaccinated includes a booster. In addition, a negative COVID 19 test may be required to be shown within 72 hours of departure for the USA. If the COVID 19 test requirement is still in effect before returning to the USA, the cost of the test is at additional cost and is to be paid directly to the testing location by the tour participant. EA Tours expects to assist with making-arrangements for the test but is not responsible for the payment.
