Day 1 – Thursday, March 12, 2020
Today you will depart on your overnight flight to Europe. Naturally meals will be served, and optional in-flight entertainment will be offered.
Day 2 – Friday, March 13, 2020
Upon arrival to Paris, you will enjoy a guided city tour, including the Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, Notre Dame, and Place de la Concorde are among a few of the important sights this “City of Light” has to offer. A highlight of your city tour will be defined by a visit to the Louvre – home to some of humanity’s greatest artistic masterpieces including the Venus de Milo, Winged Victory and Mona Lisa. Afterwards you will transfer to your hotel for check in. Dinner is included this evening.
Day 3 – Saturday, March 14, 2020
This morning you will depart Paris for an excursion to Versailles, once home to King Louis XIV – the “Sun King.” The beautiful Palace serves as a testament to that era’s rich cultural heritage and aristocratic power. Tonight, you may choose to enjoy an ascent of the Eiffel Tower (free to those who submit their application and deposit by the deadline) to view Paris by night!
Day 4 – Sunday, March 15, 2020
Today you will bid farewell to Paris as you board a train to Caen for a lunch break before continuing on to Bayeux to behold the famous tapestry, before returning to Caen this evening for check in and dinner at your hotel.
Day 5 – Monday, March 16, 2020
This morning a visit is planned to the Caen Memorial, before continuing to a guided tour of the D-Day Beaches of Omaha, Utah and visiting the American cemetery.
Day 6 – Tuesday, March 17, 2020
This morning you will bid farewell to Caen to return to Paris. Upon your return to Paris you will have the afternoon at leisure to explore the ambience of this beautiful city.
Day 7 – Wednesday, March 18, 2020
This morning enjoy some last minute shopping and sightseeing such as the Sacre Coeur and much more with your tour leader. This afternoon a tour of Catacombs of Paris is planned. Later you will enjoy a Farewell Dinner Cruise on the River Seine.
Day 8 – Thursday, March 19, 2020
This morning you will transfer to the airport for your return flight to the United States.
