On June 7th, you will depart Los Angeles to begin your European adventure, landing in the timeless city of Dublin on June 8th, discovering the hidden treasures of this city.  Fantastic excursions, cultural encounters, historic sites, delicious foods and fun souvenir shopping make this trip exciting and rewarding.  Bring these memories home with you on June 19th.

Dublin

June 8 – 11

On June 8th, you will arrive in Dublin to begin your European adventure. Following hotel check-in, you will take time this evening to explore the city with your tour director.  Begin June 9th with a guided panoramic city tour* of Dublin, including a visit to St. Patrick’s Cathedral* and the Book of Kells* at Trinity College. On June 10th, you will enjoy a guided excursion to Trim Castle* and the Battle of Boyne battle site and museum*. Spend your last evening in Dublin enjoying local sight-seeing and shopping on Grafton Street, or simply strolling through St. Stephen’s Green before departing the next morning for Edinburgh. 

Edinburgh

June 11 – 14

On June 11th you will fly to Edinburgh. Upon arrival you will visit Roslyn Chapel*, whose construction began in 1456 and is among the finest architecture in Scotland. Known as the “Prince of Cities”, Edinburgh will offer you such sights on your June 12th city tour* as Edinburgh Castle*, Charlotte Square, Princess Street Gardens and St. Giles Cathedral. A walk down The Royal Mile, the Old Town’s famous thoroughfare, will introduce you to such places as the Royal Museum of Scotland, the Huntly House and the Holyrood house*, the celebrated royal palace. June 13th takes you to Stirling Castle*, historically one of Scotland’s most important fortresses, before continuing to see Doune Castle*, a filming location for both TV Shows, Outlander and Game of Thrones.

York

June 14 – 16

Bid farewell to Edinburgh as you continue to York on June 14th. The history of York is the history of England.  Some of the optional sights awaiting your arrival are the Jorvik Viking Center*, a reconstruction of the Viking city of Jorvik, and the National Railway Museum. June 15th begins with a guided city tour* including York Minster Cathedral*, the largest medieval cathedral in northern Europe. We will walk the medieval walls and explore the snickelways of this ancient, medieval, and modern city. Your evening in York will culminate with a hauntingly spectacular Ghost Tour*.

London

June 16 – 19

On June 16th, you will arrive in London to continue your European adventure. Following hotel check-in, you will take time this evening to explore the city with your tour director. Begin June 17th with a guided panoramic city tour* of London, followed by a visit to the Tower of London*, where the Beefeaters tell tall tales and you may view the fabulous Crown Jewels.  Dedicate June 18th to exploring area points of interest with your tour leader including Trafalgar Square, Covent Gardens, the British Museum*, National Gallery, Piccadilly Circus and much more. On June 19th, you will return to the United States with fond memories, amazing experiences and perhaps a souvenir or two from your European adventure.
