Literary Tour of Britain
Day 1- 16 June
Depart US for international flight to London.
Day 2- 17 June
On arrival you will transfer to Bath with visits to Windsor Castle and Stonehenge en-route.
Overnight Bath. Dinner included.
Day 3- 18 June
Am city tour and visits to the Roman Baths and Pump room. This afternoon you will visit the
Jane Austin museum before you continue your British sojourn when you travel to Stratford upon
Avon this evening.
Day 4- 19 June
Begin today with a captivating city tour which will include such stops as, William Shakespeare’s Birthplace, Trinity Church, Ann Hathaway’s Cottage and Mary Arden’s House. While in Stratford, enjoy a performance at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre (pending availability).
Day 5 – 20 June
This morning you will return to London with a special stop en-route to Warner Bros. Harry Potter World and delight in a magical morning!! This afternoon you will embark on a journey to the scholarly city of Oxford. Your walking tour will include stops at Magdalen College, Port Meadow, Eagle and Child, Oxford University Press, Pitt Rivers Museum St Johns College, University College, The Queens College, Brasenose College, Hertford College, and lots more! Dinner Included on your return to London.
Day 6-21 June
Begin today with a city tour including Westminster Abbey. This afternoon a visit to Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre is planned. Evening ride on the London Eye (free to those who submit their application and deposit by the deadline.)
Day 7- 22 June
Today a morning visit to the Tower of London is planned. Dedicate this afternoon exploring area points of interest with your tour leader including Trafalgar Square, Covent Gardens, The British Museum, National Gallery, Piccadilly Circus and much more. Tonight, you will enjoy an evening theatre performance.
Day 8-23 June
A morning excursion is planned to Hampton Court Palace. Afternoon at leisure for last minute sightseeing and shopping before returning with treasured memories of your journey.
