It is necessary that you arrive at Glasgow Airport (GLA) by 10:00 AM on July 30th in order to meet your group and depart for a visit to Barr Castle*, used for Freemasonry since 1894, and Kilwinning* (pending availability) before your hotel check-in. While in Kilwinning you may wish to visit the Kilwinning Abbey, reputed to be the original Lodge of Freemasonry in Scotland. Begin July 31st with a guided tour of Glasgow* including a visit to Glasgow Cathedral* followed by a visit to Glengoyne Distillery*. Later this afternoon you will enjoy an unforgettable cruise on Loch Lomond* before continuing your adventure to Inveraray this evening. On August 1st you will enjoy a visit to Inveraray Castle*, the ancestral home of the Campbell Clan Chief.
PITLOCHRY & St. ANDREWS
August 2 – 5, 2019
On August 2nd you will enjoy a scenic drive to Pitlochry. This Victorian town situated between mountains, has become a perfect holiday resort for hillwalking and visitors to the Vale of Atholl. Along the way you will enjoy the rare pleasure of The Queen’s View, a famous vantage point that looks out over one of the most iconic panoramas in Scotland, believed to have been named after Queen Isabella, the 14th century wife of Robert the Bruce. This afternoon a visit is planned to the Edradour Distillery*, the smallest distillery in Scotland! On August 3rd you will continue to St. Andrews where you will enjoy a visit to St. Andrew’s Castle and Cathedral* and a guided walk of the Old Course*, for which St. Andrews is famous. Additional time is planned at leisure to visit Masonic sites as desired. August 4th is dedicated to visiting the Bridge of Allan Scottish Highland Games*. This rare opportunity offers a program of traditional cultural and sporting events. Crowd-pleasing heavyweight competitions, almost two hundred highland dancers and more than a thousand pipers are just some of the highlights of the day. On August 5th you will depart for Edinburgh.
EDINBURGH

Before arriving in Edinburgh on August 5th you will visit Falkland, a filming location for the Outlander series, and Roslyn Chapel* and Lodge*, whose construction began in 1456 and is among the finest architecture in Scotland. Known as the “Prince of Cities”, Edinburgh offers you such sights as Edinburgh Castle (entrance included for those who register by the due date), Charlotte Square, Princes Street Gardens, St. Giles Cathedral and Palace of Holyroodhouse*, the celebrated Royal Palace. Begin August 6th with a guided tour of the city*, followed by a visit to the Grand Lodge of Scotland. This evening will culminate with an evening Dinner Gala*. A leisurely day spent on the Royal Mile, the Old Town’s famous thoroughfare, is planned on August 7th for last minute shopping and sightseeing. Planned this evening is a highlight of your tour with attendance to the Edinburgh Military Tattoo*. Today, August 8th, transportation is provided to Edinburgh airport for your return to the United States with fond memories, amazing experiences and perhaps a souvenir or two from your European adventure.

The land only trip price is based on twin occupancy includes point to point transportation between cities while in Scotland, all breakfasts, and 5 dinners, including special Gala Farewell Dinner in Edinburgh. You are responsible for providing your own airline arrangements. In the unlikely event that EA Tours cancels the tour and is unable to operate a substitute itinerary, the tour cost including the initial deposit is fully refundable.
