Upon arrival to Rome you will travel to Sperlonga for a visit to Tiberius’s Grotto & museum before continuing to Pompeii hotel for check-in.

This morning a visit is planned to Mt. Vesuvius. Following Vesuvius, the afternoon is devoted to a guided visit of Herculaneum archaeological site.
Wednesday, March 21, 2018
Begin today with a morning visit to Oplontis followed by a guided afternoon visit to Pompeii.
Thursday, March 22, 2018
Depart Pompeii for Rome including a visit to Hadrian’s Villa. Upon arrival you will enjoy a panoramic city tour which may include such sites as the Arch of Janus, Arco degli Argentarii, Church of San Teodoro, Theater of Marcellus, and Portico of Octavia prior to Rome hotel check-in.

Begin this morning to visiting the Vatican Museum, St. Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel. This afternoon is devoted to visiting Ostia Antica.

Dedicate today to local sightseeing using a Roma Pass – including morning visits to the Colosseum, Forum, and the afternoon at leisure to visit Palatine Museums and other sights of interest with your tour leader. Overnight in Rome.

A morning visit is planned to the Museo Borghese followed by afternoon walking/sightseeing to the Capitoline Museum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Piazza Navona and time at leisure for personal discovery.

Today is devoted to visiting the Baths of Caracalla, Appian Way and Baths of Caracalla followed by a visit to the Gladiator School. Farewell dinner included.
