On February 14^th you will depart Miami to begin your adventure.  After crossing the international dateline and landing in the timeless city of Kunming you will discover the hidden treasures of this city.  Fantastic excursions, cultural encounters, preserved historical sites, delicious foods and exotic shopping make this trip exciting and rewarding.  Bring these memories home with you on February 25^th.

Kunming

 February 16 – 17, 2017

 

Upon arrival in Kunming you will be met and begin your China adventure with a guided city tour*.  The city was founded in 765 and has preserved the old while becoming a modern busy city.  Your tour will include the Golden Horse* and Green Jade Chicken Lane*, a landmark of Kunming, before arriving at your hotel.

 

Lijiang

February 17 – 20, 2017

 

This morning, February 17^th, you board your flight to Lijiang.  Lijiang is a preserved ancient Chinese town, with great cultural flavor.  Walking along the bridges and waterways of the Old Town is like stepping back in time.  Upon arrival a guided city tour* is planned en-route to your hotel.  You will visit Black Dragon Pond Park* as well as the Lijiang Old Town*.  The next day, February 18^th, you will go to Jade Dragon Mountain*, see the Impression of Lijiang Show in VIP seats*, visit White Water River* and Blue Moon Valley*.  Your final day in Lijiang, February 19^th, is free for shopping, trying new foods and exploring the area.

Beijing

February 20 – 23, 2017

 

On February 20^th you fly to Beijing, capital of the People’s Republic of China.  This city is one of the planet’s most populous cities and possesses an eclectic mix of historical tradition and modern flair.  Some of the points of interest that you will visit from February 20^th – 23^rd are Tiananmen Square*, Forbidden City*, Summer Palace*, National Grand Theatre, Qianmen Street, National Stadium (Bird’s Nest), Water Cube*, Great Wall* including cable car*, Peking Duck dinner* and Temple of Heaven*.   In the afternoon of February 23^rd you board your flight to Shanghai.

 

Shanghai

February 23 – 25, 2017

 

Shanghai is the most influential trade center in Eastern Asia.  February 24^th will be spent touring Shanghai.  Your local guide will take you to the Shanghai Bund* (a riverside trade district), Seven City God Temple Bazaar*, Shanghai Museum*, a visit to the 100^th floor of the Shanghai Financial Center* for an unforgettable view of the city, Nanjing Road* and Shanghai Acrobat Show with dinner*.  On February 25^th you travel to Shanghai Airport where you board your flight back to the U.S. taking with you wonderful memories and many photos of this Asian adventure.

 

 

SPECIAL TOUR CONDITIONS: **The tour price, if payments are made by cash or check, is $4897.00 otherwise, if paying by credit card, the standard non-discounted price is $4997.00.  Tour participation is based on twin occupancy and includes roundtrip airfare from Miami, point-to point transportation between cities while in China, all breakfasts, 5 lunches and 6 dinners.  *The entrance fees and/or transportation, marked with an asterisk, which are included in the tour price are the Golden Horse, Green Jade Chicken Lane, Black Dragon Pond Park, Jade Dragon Mountain, Impression of Lijiang Show, White Water River and Blue Moon Valley, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace, National Grand Theatre and Bird’s Nest (outside only), Water Cube, the Great Wall with cable car, Peking Duck dinner, Temple of Heaven, Seven City God Temple Bazaar, Shanghai Museum, Shanghai Financial Center to 100^th floor, Shanghai acrobatic Show and city tours in Kunming, Lijiang, Beijing and Shanghai.   Other items may be offered optionally, and are not included in the tour price.   A guaranteed single room may be available; please contact the Euro-American office for price.   Included are the estimated applicable governmental international airline ticket taxes, fuel surcharges, security surcharges, and associated fees.   All tour participants must submit a signed application.  A $500.00 initial deposit* is due no later than October 6, 2016 and will reserve your space on this tour (initial deposit fully refundable if tour does not operate).
