Featuring Loire Valley, Versailles & Mont St. Michel

June 14-19, 2017

June 14^th – Welcome to Paris. Following hotel check-in, you will enjoy a guided tour of the city* viewing such famous landmarks as the Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, and the Place de la Concorde.

June 15^th – An excursion is planned today outside of Paris to the Palace of Versailles*, once the home of King Louis XIV, the “Sun King”. Later this evening, you may optionally enjoy a thrilling ascent to the second level of the Eiffel Tower (free to those who submit their application and deposit by the deadline).

June 16^th – Your tour continues with an excursion to the breathtaking site of Mont St. Michel* and its famous island-protected Abbey, on the north coast of France. You will enjoy exploring this Benedictine monastery that was established in 966. This evening you will return to Paris and have ample time to enjoy the ambience of this delightful city.

June 17^th – Today you will travel to the Loire Valley, where you will enjoy such chateaux as Chenonceaux and Chambord*.

June 18^th – Your last day in Paris takes you to the Louvre* (world’s largest art museum), home to the Venus de Milo, the Winged Victory and the Mona Lisa. Dedicate this afternoon at leisure to discovering such sights as Sacre Coeur, Montmartre and Place du Tertre Notre Dame, and much more. This evening you will enjoy a Seine River Cruise* to enjoy Paris by night!

Carcassonne & Toulouse

June 19-22, 2017

June 19^th – Today you will bid Paris a fond Adieu as you continue your adventure to Carcassonne! Carcassonne, a hilltop town in southern France, is famous for its medieval citadel, La Cité, with numerous watchtowers and double-walled fortifications. After arrival, you will have time at leisure to explore before dinner.

June 20^th – A guided walking tour* is planned including a visit to Chateau Comtal*, a 12th-century castle within the Cité, which offers archaeological exhibits and a tour of the inner ramparts., June 21^st – Your last day in France will culminate with travel to Toulouse by train. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a guided tour of the city*. This evening enjoy last minute exploration with your tour advisor to area points of interests including churches, optional museums of your choice, or extra time shopping for last minute souvenirs.

June 22^nd, – Today, you will return to the United States with fond memories, amazing experiences and perhaps a souvenir or two from your European adventure.

 SPECIAL TOUR CONDITIONS: **The tour price, if payments are made by cash or check, is $3,587.00.; otherwise, if paying by credit card, the standard non-discounted price is $3,687.00.  If you wish to use a credit card for your initial deposit, you will be allowed to pay the remaining payments by check and still receive the discounted tour price. Trip price is based on triple occupancy and includes round trip airfare from Miami, point-to point transportation between cities while in Europe, all breakfasts and 5 dinners. Additionally, *Entrance fees and/or transportation marked with an asterisk as well as city tours in Paris, Carcassonne and Toulouse are included in the tour price (Versailles, Mt. St. Michel, Chateau Chambord, Chenonceau, and Comtal, Louvre, Seine River Cruise, and a 4 day French Rail Pass (pending availability). In the unlikely event that EA Tours cancels the tour and is unable to operate a substitute itinerary, the tour cost including the initial deposit is fully refundable. Additional items may be offered optionally, are subject to availability and are not included in the tour price.  A guaranteed single room may be available for a supplemental charge of $525.00. A guaranteed twin room may be available for a supplemental charge of $310.00 per person. Included are the estimated applicable governmental international airline ticket taxes, fuel surcharges security surcharges, and associated fees. If applicable, unforeseen tax increases will be billed on a supplemental invoice. A minimum number of paying participants may be required to operate the tour. A $1,000.00 non-refundable initial deposit is required to reserve your space on this tour. All tour participants must submit an online application.
