Built on a network of centuries-old canals, Amsterdam is a delightful city. The largest and most cosmopolitan city of the Netherlands, Amsterdam is also the diamond-cutting capital of the world. Upon arrival you will enjoy a guided walking tour* of the city before checking into your hotel. Spend this evening at leisure exploring with your tour leader after dinner.

May 31st

This morning you will visit the Rijksmuseum*, considered one of the top three art museums in the world and home to Rembrandt’s “Nightwatch”. You will also visit the Anne Frank House*, where Anne Frank took refuge during the Nazi invasion of World War II and wrote her famous diary. Later this afternoon you may wish to visit the Van Gogh Museum. The museum’s collection is the largest collection of Van Gogh’s paintings and drawings in the world. Afterwards dedicate time to discovering such fascinating sights as the Flower Market, Dam Square and Rembrandt Square last minute sightseeing, shopping, strolling through Vondelpark, or simply enjoying the ambience of this beautiful city known as “the Venice of the North”. This evening you may optionally wish to enjoy a scenic canal cruise to enjoy views of this city from the beautiful canal waterways.

 June 1st

Dedicate today for an excursion to Zanse Schans* to marvel at this scenic windmill village. You will continue to Volendam*, a picturesque beach community, for sightseeing before returning to Amsterdam this afternoon to board your train to Paris! Enjoy this evening discovering the ambience of the city your tour leader.

Paris

June 2nd

Today you will enjoy a guided tour of the city* exploring Paris with viewing such fascinating sights as Sacre Coeur, Place De la Concorde, Arch of Triumph and Notre Dame. Later you may wish to view the artists of Montmartre at Place du Tertre, shop at Les Galeries Lafayette (France’s largest department store) or simply relax and enjoy the charm of the elegant boulevards, museums, and the outdoor cafes with your tour leader. This evening you will enjoy an ascent to the second level of the Eiffel Tower*!

June 3rd

This morning begins with an enlightening tour of the Louvre*, the world’s largest museum. Among its beautiful surroundings are thousands of masterpieces including the Winged Victory and Mona Lisa. Perhaps this evening you will choose to enjoy a Seine River Cruise, (free to those who submit their application and deposit by September 21, 2015).

June 4th

This morning you will visit the famous Palace of Versailles* before you transfer to the airport for your flight to Rome. Upon arrival you will transfer to your hotel for check-in. After dinner spend the evening exploring area points of interest with your tour leader.

Rome

June 5th

Begin today celebrating Mass at the Vatican!! This afternoon you will enjoy a guided tour of the city* including sights such as San Clemente, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and much more. Your tour will culminate with a visit to the Colosseum and Forum*, Rome’s iconic historical site. Dedicate this evening to exploring Rome with your tour leader to see such sights as the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps.

June 6th

Begin today with a guided visit to the Vatican Museums* including St. Peter’s Basilica* and the Sistine Chapel*.This afternoon there will be ample time for last minute sightseeing and shopping for souvenirs before your farewell dinner.

June 7th

You will depart Rome for your return flight to the United States, taking with you unforgettable memories of your journey.
