Bonjour educational travelers!

Another work week has come and is almost finished. That means it’s time for another edition of photo Friday where I highlight the best cities, museums, monuments, and food among other things for you to see and eat while on your EA student tour.

Today’s photo is all about Paris’ Sacré-Coeur located on Montmartre’s summit.

A visit to the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris is a popular activity with our students and teachers. Sacré-Coeur is a Roman Catholic Church and minor basilica that’s dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The basilica was constructed on the summit of Montmartre and serves up the most incredible views of the city below.

Once you have your fill of disgustingly beautiful scenery, take a walk around the neighborhood and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of Place du Tertre. Wonderfully charming cafes abound with delicious food and artists who set up show with their best paintings waiting for you to take one home as a memento of your educational tour.

Come back next week where I’ll be sharing my brother’s latest post on this enchanting Parisian area.

Have a great weekend,

Kate.
