Photo Friday: Christ Church Cathedral.

Posted on

Hello readers!

I’ve decided to start a new reoccurring series on our educational tours blog showcasing a new travel photo every Friday! I want to share with you the world’s beauty through churches, historic landmarks, museums, and nature among other things.

First up is Christ Church Cathedral in Dublin!

This magnificent cathedral was constructed c. 1030 under Dúnán, first bishop of Dublin, and Sitriuc Silkbeard, the Norse king of Dublin. People have been coming to this cathedral to worship God for nearly one thousand years! While the building has undergone many changes over the centuries, it still remains a site of unique heritage that shines with beauty.

Keep an eye out for a more in-depth look at this spiritual heart of Dublin, a great place to include on an educational tour.
