When traveling with EA Tours to Italy on one of our many educational student tours, participants will most likely visit the capital, Rome.
Here students and teachers will become immersed in Roman culture. From the wonderful art and varied history to exceptional cuisine and shopping, students and their group leaders will become more knowledgeable on what it’s like to be a true Roman. One of the most important aspects to being a Roman is having a strong Catholic faith.
Located in the heart of Rome, the Vatican is its own operating country and home to Catholicism. While many know of St. Peter’s Basilica, did you know that the Vatican is also home to the Vatican Museums?

Quite impressive if I may say so!
Inside, students and teachers will discover the Pinacoteca (Picture Gallery), Pio-clementino Museum, Stanze (Raphael Rooms), and conclude with the renowned Sistine Chapel before making their way into St. Peter’s.
I hope you’ll join me on Monday as I delve deeper into why a visit to the Vatican Museums should be at the top of your must-see list on your educational tour to Italy.
Have a great weekend,
Kate.
