This morning, depart Orlando on a flight to our nation’s capital, Washington, D.C. Your private motor coach and favorite tour guide will meet you upon arrival at the airport. First enjoy a picturesque picnic lunch* from Potbelly at the United States National Arboretum*. This popular garden projects the aesthetic, environmental and economic importance of landscape and ornamental plants through its extensive 446 acres of gardens. From there, explore the Smithsonian Natural History Museum*. Some of the popular exhibits to be seen include Dinosaurs, FossiLab and The Hope Diamond. Nearby, the Smithsonian Museum of American History offers exhibits such as the Star-Spangled Banner and Julia Child’s kitchen. Shop for your take home souvenirs before Dinner* at DC’s iconic Ben’s Chili Bowl. Following dinner you will take a moonlight tour* of the memorials, including the Lincoln, Martin Luther King, Jr. and Jefferson Memorials.

Start your day with a photo opportunity in front of the White House, followed by the US Capitol Tour*. Explore the building that began being built in 1793 and is still a working office today! Next you will have the opportunity to so see the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights at the National Archives Museum*. After lunch*, explore the Wright 1903 Flyer and the Apollo 11 command module, Columbia at the Smithsonian Museum of Air and Space. Next you will tour the National Portrait Gallery*, whose collections focuses on images of famous Americans. Before Dinner* and Bowling at Annandale Lanes*, you’ll visit the National Museum of African American History and Culture*, the only national museum devoted exclusively to the documentation of African American life, history, and culture.

Begin today by navigating Arlington National Cemetery*, the final resting place for countless American heroes. Here, witness the solemn Changing of the Guards Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and possibly participate in a Wreath Laying Ceremony (pending approval). Following lunch*, you will view one the largest most inclusive collections of American art at the Smithsonian American Art Museum*. Honor our nation’s first president at the Washington Monument*. Visit the Marine Corps War Memorial*, also known as the Iwo Jima Memorial. Enjoy a variety of choices for dinner* at the Pentagon Mall and then visit the National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial*, a permanent outdoor memorial to the victims in the building and on American Airlines Flight 77 during the September 11 th attacks. Tonight, you will have free time at the hotel.

After breakfast, journey to Mount Vernon*, George Washington’s estate and final resting place. Your guide will direct you through Washington’s home, tomb and the many buildings which helped to run this large estate. You will also participate in the wreath-laying ceremony* at George Washington’s tomb. After lunch*, you will visit the iconic site where President Lincoln was assassinated at Ford’s Theatre. Lastly, you will experience a humbling visit to the Holocaust Museum*, both a touching and
vivid reminder of those who were persecuted. Depart for home, taking your memories, souvenirs, and a deeper pride and admiration for American History.

SPECIAL TOUR CONDITIONS: *The tour price, if payments are made by cash or check, is $1898.00; otherwise, if paying by credit card, the standard non-discounted price is $1940.00. The tour price, if payments are made by cash or check, is $1,898.00; otherwise, if paying by credit card, the $1,898.00 tour price (minus the deposit amount) is subject to a 3% additional credit card fee, which is estimated to be $42.00. You are allowed to use a credit card for your initial deposit without incurring a credit card fee.
The tour price is based on four persons to a room and includes round-trip airline transportation from Orlando, FL, hotel accommodations, 3 breakfasts, 4 lunches and 4 dinners, sightseeing, entrance fees if required and private motor-coach transportation. Anticipated sites and activities to be visited (including entrance fees if applicable) include the US Arboretum, Smithsonian Museums, Dedicate Memorials, Us Capitol, National Archives Museum, National Portrait Gallery, Annandale Lanes, Arlington National Cemetery, Mount Vernon, and Ford’s Theatre. Please note that all above-mentioned scheduled activities are subject to change, substitution, or cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control (i.e. availability, weather, traffic, etc). A guaranteed triple, double or single room may be available for a supplemental charge upon request. Included are the estimated applicable governmental airline ticket taxes, fuel surcharges, security surcharges, and associated fees.
