Upon your arrival in Washington, DC on April 23, you will meet your tour leader, receive your Potbelly lunch*, and your private motor coach will transport you to Arlington National Cemetery. At Arlington National Cemetery experience a guided tour of the final resting place for countless American heroes. Here, witness the solemn Changing of the Guards Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and take part in a floral tribute to our country’s bravest with a Wreath Ceremony*. Then enjoy an enlightening mass at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle* before dinner * with an array of choices at Pentagon Mall.

This morning, you will tour the building that houses the two U.S. legislative branches, the U.S. Capitol*, followed by a gander through the largest research library in the U.S., Library of Congress*. Following lunch*, you will have your choice of museums to tour. Natural History Museum* where one of the popular exhibits to be seen there include: Dinosaurs, Fossils and The Hope Diamond. The National Museum of African American History and Culture*, the only national museum devoted exclusively to the documentation of African American life, history, and culture, and/or the Smithsonian Museum of American History which offers exhibits such as the Star-Spangled Banner and Julia Child’s kitchen. Unwind this evening with dinner* and bowling* at Annandale Lanes.
April 25, 2025
After breakfast, journey to Mount Vernon*, George Washington’s estate and final resting place. Your guide will direct you through Washington’s home, tomb and the many buildings which helped to run this large estate. Following lunch*, explore the Wright 1903 Flyer and the Apollo 11 command module, Columbia at the Smithsonian Museum of Air and Space*. Enjoy souvenir shopping before your visit to Ford’s Theatre* where Abraham Lincoln’s presidency, assassination, and legacy is showcased. Dinner* tonight is at the infamous Hard Rock Cafe*! Before turning in for the night, you will experience a beautiful illumination tour of the memorials, including the National Mall, Jefferson, Lincoln, Washington, and Vietnam War memorials!

SPECIAL TOUR CONDITIONS: **At the time of printing of this brochure, the applicable airfares required for the travel dates are not yet available. The estimated/projected price for this trip is $1860.00 per person. if paying by credit card, a 3% credit card service fee (charged by credit card company) will be due for, other than the initial deposit for which there is no credit card service fee, whatever amount is charged to the credit card. If you wish to use a credit card for your initial deposit, you will be allowed to pay the remaining payments by check and still receive the listed tour price without a 3% surcharge. The estimated/projected tour price will be based on two persons to a room and will include round-trip airline transportation (subject to confirmation) from New Orleans, hotel accommodations, 3 breakfasts, 4 lunches and 3 dinners, sightseeing, entrance fees if required and motor-coach transportation, where applicable. Sightseeing visits INCLUDE a guide and entrance fees (if applicable) to Arlington National Cemetery (wreath ceremony), Mass at Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle, U.S. Capitol, Library of Congress, Smithsonian American History Museum, National Museum of African American History and Culture, Smithsonian Museum of Natural History, Mount Vernon, National Archives, Smithsonian Museum of Air & Space, Ford’ Theatre, and Illumination tour of Memorials. Please note that all above-mentioned scheduled activities are subject to change or cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control (i.e., availability, weather, traffic, etc.). A minimum number of paying tour participants, travelling together, may be required for the tour offering to remain valid. A guaranteed single occupancy room may be available for a supplemental charge. A trip price reduction of $100 per person is allowed for those using a quad or triple occupancy room. ROOM TYPE REQUESTS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO EA TOURS. The applicable tour conditions are listed on the online application. There is a $250.00 non-refundable (FOR ANY REASON) deposit due to be eligible for the trip. The first installment of $500.00 will be due November 25, 2024. Second installment of $500.00 will be due January 20, 2025. Final Payment of $610.00 will be due no later than February 24, 2025.

The waiver and release of liability as listed below is in addition to those already stated on the Tour Conditions of the official tour participant Application and Participation Agreement.
By paying the initial NON-REFUNDABLE FOR ANY REASON deposit and/or subsequent payments, it is understood that participation in the Our Lady of Prompt Succor School, Washington DC 2023 Tour (“Tour”) is voluntary. Additionally, it is understood and acknowledged that participation in this Tour is not required. It is further acknowledged that as a Tour Participant, I am aware of the risks and dangers associated with travel as a result of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and have knowingly chosen to accept and assume all such associated risks and dangers. It is further understood that, if in the event a participant contracts COVID-19, or any other illness, prior to departure and are unable to travel on the prescribed trip, they are still subject to the tour conditions and refund policy as stated in the online Application and Participation Agreement. It is further agreed to release, waive, covenant not to sue, hold harmless and forever discharge Voyager Travel, Inc., dba EA Tours, its officials, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all liabilities, claims, damages, losses, expenses, injuries, or other harms, whether known or unknown, resulting from or related to participation in the Tour, its activities, or the associated travel. It is expressly agreed and understood that this Voluntary Release and Waiver of Liability is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of Florida and the State of Louisiana. Additionally, by making any payments (whatsoever), it is acknowledged that these conditions have been carefully read and that this is a Voluntary Release and Waiver of Liability.
