On February 7th, you will depart from the USA to begin your Greek adventure, landing in the eternal city of Athens on February 8^th and discovering the mysterious treasures of this city.  From the extraordinary excursions and rich cultural experiences to the historical landmarks, and savory food, this trip will be both sensational and gratifying. You will return home with these remarkable memories on February 16^th.   Cultural encounters, preserved historical sites, delicious foods, and superb shopping make this trip both exciting and rewarding

 

Athens

February 8 – 10, 2025

On February 8th, you will arrive in Athens to start your exciting Greek journey.  Following your hotel check-in, you will take time with your tour director for sightseeing in the largest city of Greece. Named after Athena, the Greek Goddess of wisdom, this culturally diverse city is known globally for many of the world heritage sites dating back to the middle of the 5^th century BC.   Dinner is included tonight. February 9th, you will enjoy a tour of Cape Sounion, home of the Temple of Poseidon*.  The present temple is built on the site of the older ruins among cliffs that tumble into the Aegean Sea.  Cape Sounion was ideally located for the worship of the powerful mythical god of the sea Poseidon.

 

Olympia – Epidaurus – Mycenae – Nafplion – Delphi

February 10 – 12, 2025

On February 10^th, you will depart Athens for to begin your discovery of classical Greece with guided visits to the Theatre of Epidaurus*, the amazing Mycenae Archaeological site, and the ancient Citadel of Agamemnon*. Tradition states that the city was founded by Perseus himself, son of Zeus and Danae. Dinner is included tonight. On February 11^th, you visit Olympia, the cradle of the Olympic Games where you will get an inside look into one of the most important museums of Greece the Olympia Museum*. This not to be missed Archaeological Museum is known for its sacred site of Ancient Greece, containing masterpieces from the history of the Olympic games.  After the Museum you will make your way to Delphi where you will explore the   famous archaeological site of Delphi*.

 

Santorini

February 12 – 14, 2025

Bid farewell to Delphi on February 12^th, as you return to Athens and connect to a flight to Santorini.  Once you have arrived in Santorini, you will transfer to your hotel, check in, and have the day free to yourself to explore.  On February 13^th, you will have the entire day devoted to island sightseeing with your tour director.  Santorini, famous for its absolutely amazing scenery and cliffside views will enchant you.   The wonderful shops and restaurants will undoubtedly contribute to the fun and excitement you will experience on this world famous Greek Island.   On February 14^th, you will return to Athens for your final few days of your Greek Adventure.

 

Athens

February 14 – 16, 2025

On February 14^th, you will depart Santorini in the morning and connect with your return flight to Athens to continue your Greek experience.  You will have this day free to explore.  On February 15^th, you will spend the day sightseeing the historic sites including the Parthenon and museum* and other historic sites.  The sights  and monuments of Athens are sure to intrigue you with their historical significance.  This night, you will enjoy a farewell traditional dinner.  On February 16^th, you will return to the United States with fond memories, amazing experiences, and perhaps souvenirs from your Greek adventure.

 

SPECIAL TOUR CONDITIONS

SPECIAL TOUR CONDITIONS: *The estimated tour price, if payments are made by cash or check, is $4390.00; otherwise, if paying by credit card, a 3% credit card service fee (charged by credit card company) will be due for, other than the initial deposit for which there is no credit card service fee, whatever amount is charged to the credit card.  If you wish to use a credit card for your initial deposit, you will be allowed to pay the remaining payments by check and still receive the listed tour price without a 3% surcharge. Tour price is based on double and/ or triple occupancy and includes roundtrip airfare from Orlando, point-to-point transportation between cities while in Europe, all breakfast and 3 evening meals.  Additionally, entrance fees and/or transportation marked with an asterisk (*) as well as city tours or guided tours, are included in the tour price.  Additional items may be offered optionally, are subject to availability and are not included in the tour price. A guaranteed twin room may be available for a supplemental per person charge, available upon request. A guaranteed single room may be available for a per person supplemental charge, available upon request. Included are the estimated applicable governmental international airline ticket taxes, fuel surcharges, security surcharges, and associated fees. If applicable, unforeseen tax increases will be billed on a supplemental invoice. A minimum number of paying participants may be required to operate the tour.

A $500.00 non-refundable (for any reason) application fee / deposit is required to reserve your space on this tour.  All tour participants must submit an online application.  Please go to “Student/Traveler Sign Up” on the home page at www.EAtours.com.  Your tour number is 225118 and must be entered on your online application.  A second payment of $1000.00, for which you will receive an invoice, will be due no later than 30 days from the date that EA Tours receives your initial payment and online application. Final payments are due no later than one hundred ten days (110) days before departure.

Updated tour details (hotels, day by day itinerary, flights, etc.) are scheduled to be released approximately four weeks prior to departure.  Please note: Additional tour conditions apply, that also relate to potential Covid Virus issues and are listed in the Tour Conditions Section on the Online Application. Applicable items listed above may supersede those listed in the tour conditions section on the online application.
