On March 7th, you will depart Orlando to spend 9 wonderful days discovering the splendors and hidden treasures of Italy.  Fantastic excursions, cultural encounters, preserved historical sites, delicious foods and wonderful shopping make this trip exciting and rewarding.

Incredible sightseeing, including such sites as the “David” at the Academy, the Ponte Vecchio Bridge and shops, Piazza Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio in Florence, the beauty of the Isle of Capri, the archaeological treasures of Pompei, and the Colosseum and Forum, Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain in Rome are but a few of the famous sites showcased on your Italian Adventure. Bring these memories home with you on March 15^th.

On March 8^th, you will arrive to Rome and be transferred to Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance.  Dinner* tonight is included. March 9^th You will begin with a walking tour of the city*, which will feature the “David at the Academy*. Other Florentine highlights include shopping in the straw market, open-air market, and strolling across the Ponte-Vecchio to see the gold and silver shops, Santa Maria Novella, the Duomo, and the eight-sided Baptistry.  On the morning of March 10^th, you will depart from Florence bound for Naples and the Amalfi Coast.  Upon arrival to Naples, you will be transferred to Pompei* for a guided visit. Following Pompei you will be transferred to your Amalfi Coast hotel.  Dinner* tonight is included. March 11^th, you will enjoy an excursion to the island of Capri* where you will see coastal villages, marine caves, cliff faces that drop dramatically into the sea. On March 12^th, you will transfer to the Naples train station where you will connect with your direct train to Rome.

Immediately upon arrival to Rome, you will transfer to your hotel for check-in procedures followed by a walking tour of some of Rome’s most important and sites. You will see such sites as the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona and Pantheon Square.   Dinner* is included tonight.  On March 13^th your Rome adventure continues with a visit to the area of the Colosseum and Forum*.   This afternoon you will get a taste of Roman life and culture by preparing an exquisite meal in a cooking class*.  On March 14^th, you will enjoy a visit to St. Peter’s Basilica*, your adventure continues with an afternoon visit to one of Rome’s famous and fascinating Catacombs*. Your final afternoon in Rome will allow you to enjoy time with your Tour Leaders for last minute shopping and sightseeing prior to your farewell dinner*, in honor of your educational adventure.   On March 15^th, you will depart for your flight back to the United States with unforgettable memories of your journey!

SPECIAL TOUR CONDITIONS: *The estimated tour price, if payments are made by cash or check, is $4,375.00 per person from Tampa; otherwise, if paying by credit card, a 3% credit card service fee (charged by credit card company) will be due, other than the initial deposit for which there is no credit card service fee, whatever amount is charged to the credit card.  If you wish to use a credit card for your initial deposit, you will be allowed to pay the remaining payments by check and still receive the listed tour price without a 3% surcharge. Tour price is based on double and/ or triple occupancy and includes roundtrip airfare, point-to-point transportation between cities while in Europe, all breakfasts and 4 evening meals.  Additionally, entrance fees and/or transportation marked with an asterisk (*) as well as city tours or guided tours, are included in the tour price. Additional items may be offered optionally, are subject to availability and are not included in the tour price. A guaranteed twin room may be available for a supplemental per person charge, available upon request. A guaranteed single room may be available for a per person supplemental charge, available upon request. Included are the estimated applicable governmental international airline ticket taxes, fuel surcharges, security surcharges, and associated fees. If applicable, unforeseen tax increases will be billed on a supplemental invoice. A minimum number of paying participants may be required to operate the tour.

A $500.00 non-refundable (for any reason) application fee / deposit is required to reserve your space on this tour.  All tour participants must submit an online application.  Please go to “Student/Traveler Sign Up” on the home page at www.EAtours.com.  Your tour number is 225103 and must be entered on your online application.  A second payment of $1000.00, for which you will receive an invoice, will be due no later than 30 days from the date that EA Tours receives your initial payment and online application. Final payments are due no later than one hundred ten days (110) days before departure.
