May 31 – June 4, 2024
Welcome to London, upon your arrival to London on May 31st, you will be transferred to your hotel, followed by your included dinner*. Following hotel check-in, you will begin exploring London with your Group Leader. Begin June 1st* with a visit to Churchill’s War Rooms and Museum*, where Winston Churchill and others directed the British efforts of the Second World War. This afternoon, a visit is planned to the Tower of London*, officially home to the Crown Jewels and the famous Beefeater Guards. The morning of June 2nd will take you on an exciting bicycle tour of London. Such sites as Piccadilly Circus, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park all await you. Your afternoon will take you to visit the Imperial War Museum*, one of the world’s most important collections of memorabilia from WWII. June 3rd will begin with a visit to the British Museum*, where you can view mummies from Egypt and the Rosetta Stone. You will continue your final day in London with your Group Leader to enjoy some personal time for shopping and sightseeing. The morning of June 4th, you will transfer to the Euro-Star train (going underneath the English Channel) to travel to the City of Lights, Paris, France.
Paris – Normandy
June 4 – June 8, 2024
Following your exciting Eurostar train ride, at times reaching speeds of up to 170mph, Paris will greet you on June 4th with all of the charm and elegance for which it is so famous. Following your hotel check-in, you will begin discovering the city with your tour leader to view the amazing sites of this amazing City. Your morning of June 5th will begin with a panoramic biking tour* of the city. Your afternoon will continue with an ascent of the Eiffel Tower* (2nd level). June 6th offers you the opportunity to enjoy discovering area points of interest with your tour leader to such sites as Sacre Coeur, Montmartre and much more. Your evening will take you on a Dinner* Cruise on the River* Seine for your Dinner*. The morning of June 7th begins your full day visit to Normandy, the D-Day beaches and the town of Caen. Once you arrive, scheduled to visit such sites as the D-Day Beaches*, American Cemetery* (first American cemetery on European soil in World War II), the Caen Memorial*, commemorating World War II and the Battle for Caen at Sainte-Mère-Église, one of two areas where airborne operations were conducted and the first French town was liberated by the Allies. Upon completion of your visit to this historic and important region, you will bid farewell to Normandy as you return to Paris by train* for your final overnight in Europe. On June 8th, you will board a plane bound for home with souvenirs, memories, and perhaps a photo or two in tow marking the end of your European adventure.

SPECIAL TOUR CONDITIONS: **The estimated tour price, if payments are made by cash or check, is $4,849.; otherwise, if paying by credit card, the estimated standard non-discounted price is $4,949.00. If you wish to use a credit card for your initial deposit, you will be allowed to pay the remaining payments by check and still receive the discounted tour price. Trip price is based on triple occupancy and includes round trip airfare from Atlanta, point-to point transportation between cities while in Europe, all breakfasts and 2 dinners. Additionally, *Entrance fees (where applicable) and/or transportation marked with an asterisk is included in the tour price (Churchill’s War Rooms Museum, British Museum, Imperial War Museum, D-Day Beaches, Caen Memorial, Mass at Sainte-Mère-Église, American Cemetery, Eiffel Tower, panoramic bike tours in London and Paris and a Seine River dinner cruise). Additional items may be offered optionally, are subject to availability and are not included in the tour price. A guaranteed twin room (subject to availability) for a supplemental charge of $400.00 per person.
Included are the estimated applicable governmental international airline ticket taxes, fuel surcharges, security surcharges, and associated fees. If applicable, unforeseen tax increases will be billed on a supplemental invoice. A minimum number of paying participants may be required to operate the tour. A $500.00 non-refundable initial deposit is required to reserve your space on this tour. All tour participants must submit an online application. Final payments are due no later than 110 days before departure.
