On June 27th, you will depart New Orleans to spend 11 wonderful days exploring Munich, Germany, Innsbruck, Salzburg, and Vienna, Austria. From the extraordinary excursions and rich cultural experiences, to the historical establishments, and savory food, this trip will be both sensational and gratifying. You will return home with these remarkable memories on July 7th.

Munich
June 27 – July 1, 2024
On June 27th, you will depart New Orleans, La. on your overnight flight bound for Munich. Upon arrival to Munich on June 28th, you begin your European adventure. Following hotel check-in, you will meet your local guide for an afternoon guided walking tour* to explore Munich’s Old Town*. Here you will be able to admire the gorgeous architecture, charming squares of the Old Town Hall. Dinner* is included tonight. On the following morning, June 29th, you will depart for a half day visit to the incredibly poignant Dachau Memorial and WWII Concentration Camp*. Dinner* is included upon your return. June 30th will surely be a highlight of your trip with a visit to both Neuschwanstein Castle and Linderhof Castle. Your full day excursion takes you for to a visit to the remarkable Neuschwanstein Castle*, the inspiration for Walt Disney’s Sleeping Beauty. Afterwards, you will travel to Linderhof Palace*, built by King Ludwig II. Dinner* is included this evening.
Innsbruck – Salzburg – Vienna
July 1 — July 5, 2024
On the morning of July 1st, you will depart the Munich train station for your journey to Innsbruck, Austria. Upon arrival in Innsbruck, you will proceed to your hotel for check-in. The afternoon brings an exciting guided walking tour* of the historic Old Town where you’ll be able to admire both the imperial and modern architecture. Dinner* is included tonight. On July 2nd, you will depart in the morning for a thrilling trip on the Nordkette Cable Car*. Be sure to have your camera charged and ready because the views of the mountains are breathtaking! As your time in Innsbruck comes to an end, you will depart the following morning, July 3rd, for Salzburg, Austria.
On July 3rd, you will once again travel to another famous Austrian city, Salzburg. Upon arrival, you will be met by your bus which will take you for a visit to the incredible Salt Mines* before transferring you to your hotel. With 2600 years of history, the Salt Mines are the oldest mines open to visitors in the world. Dinner* this evening is included. On July 4th, you begin your day with a guided walking tour* of Salzburg’s magnificent Old Town and its wonderful medieval streets. A definite highlight of your trip will be your visit to one of the most remarkable medieval fortresses in Europe, Hohensalzburg Castle*. After your visit, the rest of the afternoon is free for you to take in the sites and sounds of Salzburg. Undoubtedly, you won’t want to miss the sites where the movie Sound of Music was filmed.
On the morning of July 5th, you will board your train bound for the final stop of your adventure, Vienna. A highlight of your time in Vienna will surely be your guided city tour and a visit to Schonbrunn Palace*, the main summer residence of the Hapsburg rulers. July 6th, your final full day, is a free for personal sightseeing. This evening you will reminisce with your fellow travelers on the memories you’ve made during your farewell dinner*. On the morning of July 7th, you will transfer to the Vienna International airport where you will begin your return journey home with lasting memories and perhaps a souvenir or two from your European adventure.

SPECIAL TOUR CONDITIONS: **The estimated tour price, if payments are made by cash or check, is $4100.; otherwise, if paying by credit card, the estimated standard non-discounted price is $4200.00. If you wish to use a credit card for your initial deposit, you will be allowed to pay the remaining payments by check and still receive the discounted tour price. Trip price is based on twin occupancy and includes round trip airfare from New Orleans (the base fare is included but, airline taxes, security fees, airport fees, etc. are not included and billed as a separate item), point-to-point transportation between cities while in Europe, all breakfasts and 6 dinners. Additionally, entrance fees and/or transportation marked with an asterisk (*) as well as city tours or guided tours, are included in the tour price (I.E. guided tours in Munich, Dachau, Innsbruck, Salzburg Nordkette Cable Car, Salt Mines, HohenSalzburg Castle, Schonbrunn Palace). Additional items may be offered optionally, are subject to availability and are not included in the tour price. A guaranteed single room may be available for a supplemental charge of $925. per person. Included are the estimated applicable governmental international airline ticket taxes, fuel surcharges, security surcharges, and associated fees. If applicable, unforeseen tax increases will be billed on a supplemental invoice. A minimum number of paying participants may be required to operate the tour.
A $500.00 non-refundable (for any reason) application fee / deposit is required to reserve your space on this tour. All tour participants must submit an online application. A second payment of $1000.00, for which you will receive an invoice, will be due no later than 30 days from the date that EA Tours receives your initial payment and online application. Final payments are due no later than one hundred ten days (110) days before departure.
