Munich – Salzburg
June 10 – 13, 2024

On June 10th, you will arrive in Munich to begin your European adventure. Your Tour Director and your Group Leader, Mr. Ruggiero, will show you the important sites of Munich’s Old Town, Olympic Park and BMW World. In Olympic Park, you will ascend the Olympic Tower* and see the best view of Munich available. Dinner is included tonight. The morning of June 11th takes you for an exciting full day excursion to the magnificent city of Salzburg with a stop enroute to the famous Salt Mines*. Your visit to Salzburg allows time to explore the wonderful medieval streets as you make an ascent to the remarkable Hohensalzburg Castle*. While in Salzburg, you will also visit the Mirabell Gardens where they filmed the movie, Sound of Music. Dinner is on your own tonight. On the morning of June 12th, you will depart for a visit to Dachau Concentration Camp. Upon your return to Munich, you will experience Munich on a guided bike tour*, enjoying sights of open parks and elegant plazas from the twisting medieval streets of Munich, all from the seat of your bicycle. Dinner is on your own tonight. On the morning of June 13th, you will say goodbye to Munich where you will connect with your flight to Paris.

Caen – D Day Beaches
June 13 – 15, 2024

Following your arrival to the Paris Airport, you will connect with your train to the city of Caen, where you will explore and visit the sites of the D-Day Invasion. On June 14th you will experience a full day of sightseeing to visit several important D-Day WWII sites, such sites D-Day landing beaches, the American Cemetery and the Utah Beach Museum*. The morning of June 15th takes you for a continuation of visits to additional D-Day sites before you board your afternoon train bound for Paris, the magnificent “City of Lights”.

 

Paris
June 15 – 18, 2024

Welcome to Paris! Following your Paris hotel check-in, you will immediately begin your explorations of this beautiful capital city. June 16th and 17th will take you around Paris as you explore the various sites, by bike* and on foot, such as Place du Tertre, Arch of Triumph, River Seine, the Eiffel Tower* and the Cathedral of Notre Dame. Dinner is included the night of June 17th on a Seine River Dinner Cruise*, the perfect way to end your incredible European adventure prior to your returning home on June 18th. On the morning of June 18th , you will return to the United States with lasting memories and perhaps a souvenir or two from your European adventure.

SPECIAL TOUR CONDITIONS

SPECIAL TOUR CONDITIONS: **The estimated tour price, if payments are made by cash or check, is $4798.; otherwise, if paying by credit card, the estimated standard non-discounted price is $4898.00.  If you wish to use a credit card for your initial deposit, you will be allowed to pay the remaining payments by check and still receive the discounted tour price. Trip price is based on twin and triple occupancy and includes round trip airfare from Atlanta (airfare is estimated, subject to increase), point-to-point transportation between cities while in Europe, all breakfasts and 2 dinners. Additionally, *Entrance fees and/or transportation marked with an asterisk as well as city tours or guided tours, and bike rentals are included in the tour price (I.e. guided bike tours in Munich and Paris, Munich Olympic Tower, Dachau, Utah Beach Museum, Salzburg area Salt Mines, HohenSalzburg Castle, Seine River Dinner Cruise,). Additional items may be offered optionally, are subject to availability and are not included in the tour price.   A guaranteed twin room may be available for a supplemental charge of $450. per person. A guaranteed single room may be available for a supplemental charge of $900. per person. Included are the estimated applicable governmental international airline ticket taxes, fuel surcharges, security surcharges, and associated fees. If applicable, unforeseen tax increases will be billed on a supplemental invoice. A minimum number of paying participants may be required to operate the tour. A $500.00 non-refundable (for any reason) application fee / deposit is required to reserve your space on this tour. All tour participants must submit an online application. A second payment of $1000.00, for which you will receive an invoice, will be due no later than 30 days from the date that EA Tours receives your initial payment and online application. Final payments are due no later than one hundred ten days (110) days before departure. Updated tour details (hotels, day by day itinerary, flights, etc.) are scheduled to be released approximately four weeks prior to departure.
