Immerse yourself in the history of our nation’s capital which will leave you with a deeper pride and understanding of American History. Museum encounters, memorial visits, and preserved historical sites make this trip exciting and rewarding. Bring these memories home with you on March 27th.

On March 24th, you will arrive at our nation’s capital, Washington, D.C. Your private motor coach and tour leader will meet you on arrival at the airport. From there you will traverse Arlington National Cemetery by tram*. Arlington is the final resting place for countless American heroes. Here, witness the solemn Changing of the Guards Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Dinner* tonight will be followed by a visit to the Marine Corps War Memorial* followed by the National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial*, a permanent outdoor memorial to the Pentagon building and flight victims of the September 11th attack.
March 25, 2023
This morning, you will visit many of the memorials* dedicated to the pride and sacrifice of the American people including the Lincoln, Vietnam, Korean and WWII Memorials. Next, visit the Smithsonian American History Museum*, which offers exhibits such as the Star-Spangled Banner and Julia Child’s Kitchen. After lunch*, explore the Smithsonian National Zoological Park*, one of the oldest zoos in the United States and currently home to more than 1,500 animals across 300 different species. From there, you will experience a humbling visit to the Holocaust Museum*, both a touching and vivid reminder of those who were persecuted and a supplication against such inhumanity. Dinner* tonight will be followed by an Illumination Tour of Memorials MLK Jr, FDR, and Jefferson*.
March 26, 2023
Today begins with Sunday mass at a local church. Afterwards, you will stop for a photo opportunity in front of the White House, the official residence and workplace of the President of the United States. It is the oldest federal building in the nation’s capital with 132 rooms and totals approximately 55,000 square feet. Then, visit the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History*. There are more than 137 million objects, works of art and specimens at the Smithsonian Museums and Galleries, so there is something for everyone. This afternoon tour one of the seats of power in our nation, the US Capitol Building*. The Senate and the House of Representatives have met at the Capitol for over 200 years. Following this, you will tour the National Portrait Gallery*, whose collections focus on images of famous Americans. A visit to Ford’s Theatre* will showcase our 16th President, Abraham Lincoln’s presidency, assassination, and legacy. Dinner* tonight is included with bowling* at one of DC’s favorite bowling venues!
March 27, 2023
After breakfast, journey to Mount Vernon*, George Washington’s estate and final resting place. Your guide will direct you through Washington’s home, tomb and the many buildings which helped to run this large estate. You will then enjoy the National Archives*, where you will view some of the most important documents in our nation’s history including The Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights and the Constitution. From there, you will depart for the airport and your flight home, taking with you memories, souvenirs, and a deeper pride and appreciation for American History.
SPECIAL TOUR CONDITIONS
**The tour price of $1,790.00 per person is based on two persons to a room and will include round-trip airline transportation from New Orleans, hotel accommodations, 3 breakfasts, 4 lunches and 4 dinners, sightseeing, entrance fees if required and motor-coach transportation, where applicable. A trip price of $1,690 is allowed for those using a quad or triple occupancy room. Sightseeing visits INCLUDE guide and entrance fees (if applicable) to the Arlington National Cemetery (including tram), Iwo Jima Memorial, National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial, Memorial Tours, Smithsonian Museums, Smithsonian Zoo, Holocaust Museum, Mass, White House Photo Op, US Capitol Tour, National Portrait Gallery, Ford’s Theatre, Bowling, Mount Vernon, and the National Archives. Please note that all above-mentioned scheduled activities are subject to change or cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control (i.e., availability, weather, traffic, etc.). A minimum number of paying tour participants, travelling together, may be required for the tour offering to remain valid. A guaranteed single occupancy room may be available for a supplemental charge. ROOM TYPE REQUESTS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO EA TOURS. The applicable tour conditions are listed on the online application. There is a $250.00 non-refundable (FOR ANY REASON) deposit due to be eligible for the trip. Additional payments are due as follows: September 23rd – $250.00, October 17th – $250.00, November 17th – $250.00, December 17th – $250.00, and January 17th – $250.00, with the final payment of $290.00 due no later than February 17, 2023.

The waiver and release of liability as listed below is in addition to those already stated on the Tour Conditions of the official tour participant Application and Participation Agreement.
By paying the initial NON-REFUNDABLE FOR ANY REASON deposit and/or subsequent payments, it is understood that participation in the Our Lady of Prompt Succor School, Washington DC 2023 Tour (“Tour”) is voluntary. Additionally, it is understood and acknowledged that participation in this Tour is not required. It is further acknowledged that as a Tour Participant, I am aware of the risks and dangers associated with travel as a result of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), and have knowingly chosen to accept and assume all such associated risks and dangers. It is further understood that, if in the event a participant contracts COVID-19, or any other illness, prior to departure and are unable to travel on the prescribed trip, they are still subject to the tour conditions and refund policy as stated in the online Application and Participation Agreement. It is further agreed to release, waive, covenant not to sue, hold harmless and forever discharge Voyager Travel, Inc., dba EA Tours, its officials, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all liabilities, claims, damages, losses, expenses, injuries, or other harms, whether known or unknown, resulting from or related to participation in the Tour, its activities, or the associated travel. It is further agreed to indemnify and hold Voyager Travel, Inc. dba EA Tours, its employees, agents, and representatives harmless from and against any and all liabilities, claims, damages, losses, expenses (including but not limited to reasonable attorneys’ fees and other litigation costs and expenses), injuries, or other harms incurred as a result of any claims or suits that (or anyone claiming by, under, or through me) may be brought to recover any liabilities, claims, damages, losses, expenses, injuries, or other harms that arise during or as a result of my participation in the Tour, its activities, or the associated travel. It is expressly agreed and understood that this Voluntary Release and Waiver of Liability is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of Florida and the State of Louisiana. Additionally, by making any payments (whatsoever), it is acknowledged that these conditions have been carefully read and that this is a Voluntary Release and Waiver of Liability.
