Day 1 – November 15, 2022

Today, depart Tampa on a flight for Washington, DC! Upon your arrival, you will visit sights such as the Smithsonian Zoo, the National Archives and the National Portrait Gallery. After dinner tonight, you will check into your hotel.

 

Day 2 – November 16, 2022

This morning begins with a visit to Ford’s Theatre followed by a scheduled visit to the US Capitol Building for a tour and lunch. Then, explore the Library of Congress and the Supreme Court. Next, visit the Museum of the Bible, which documents the narrative, history, and impact of the Bible. After dinner, there will be a guided evening tour of the memorials.

 

Day 3 – November 17, 2022

Your first stop today will be the 9/11 Pentagon Memorial. Then, tour Arlington National Cemetery by tram, where you will witness the solemn Changing of the Guards Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. After lunch, visit one of the many Smithsonian museums followed by the National Museum of African American History and Culture. This afternoon will take you on an exploration of the Ronald Reagan Building and the Smithsonian Art Museum before dinner.

 

Day 4 – November 18, 2022

Your last day in Washington, DC begins with a visit to the Iwo Jima Memorial, also know as the Marine Corps Memorial, as well as photo opportunities in front of the White House and the Washington Monument! Afterwards, spend time exploring the nearby Smithsonian museums such as the Natural History Museum, with a final stop at the Holocaust Memorial Museum after lunch.

Sightseeing visits INCLUDE entrance fees (if applicable) to the Smithsonian Zoo, National Archives, Ronald Reagan Building, Arlington Cemetery, Pentagon Memorial, Smithsonians, Memorials tour, Ford’s Theatre, US Capitol, Library of Congress, Supreme Court, Museum of the Bible, Marine Corps War Memorial (Iwo Jima), White House Photo Op, Washington Monument (outside view) and the Holocaust Memorial Museum. Please note that all above-mentioned scheduled activities are subject to change or cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control (i.e. availability, weather, traffic, etc.). In the event that planned activities, museum visits, etc. are closed due to Covid-19 and/or for any other reason, EA Tours reserves the right to substitute those planned activities with other venues, at their discretion.
