Munich

May 29 – 31, 2023

On May 29^th you will arrive to Munich to begin your European adventure. You will begin exploring Munich by visiting such famous sites as the city’s Old Town, Olympia Park and BMW World.  In Olympia Park, you will ascend the Olympic Tower and see the best view of Munich available. Your evening will conclude with a dinner at the famous Ratskeller’s restaurant.    Begin May 30^th with a visit to the White Rose Exhibit at the University of Munich, followed by the Englischer Garden and watching surfers on the Eisbach River. Your afternoon will take you on a guided bike tour*, enjoying sights of open parks and elegant plazas from the twisting medieval streets of Munich, all from the seat of your bicycle.

 

Salzburg

May 31, 2023

The morning of May 31st you depart Munich for an incredible full day excursion driving through the majestic and amazing Alps to magnificent Salzburg, Austria.  Before entering Salzburg Old Town, you will explore the Salzwelten Salt Mine and the mysterious ancient miners’ tunnels into the mountain.  Highlights of your time in Salzburg include exploring the Old Town, filming sites of the movie Sound of Music and the Hohen Salzburg Castle.   After an exciting and fun-filled day at Salzburg, you will return to Munich for your final night before departing for Nuremberg.

 

Nuremberg

June 1 – 3, 2023

On June 1^st, you will bid farewell to Munich as you continue your journey to Nuremberg.  En-route to Nuremberg, a visit to Dachau Concentration Camp* is scheduled.  The exhibits and pictorial presentation at Dachau clearly demonstrates the horrors of War and the suffering under the Nazi regime. Upon arrival to Nuremberg, a guided tour of the Documentation Center Museum is scheduled with a visit to Zeppelin Field.   June 2^nd takes you for additional exploration with your tour leader to visit the Nuremberg Imperial Castle* and Palace of Justice*.

 

Berlin

June 3 – 5, 2023

The morning of June 3^rd, you will bid farewell to Nuremberg as you continue your journey to Berlin via train.  A Morning visit on June 4^th is planned for Check Point Charlie Museum*. Your afternoon will be devoted to exploring Berlin on a guided Bike Tour*.  Following your final dinner, you will ascend the Fernsehturm Tower, soaking in the most spectacular views of Berlin. The following morning, June 5^th, you will return to the United States with fond memories and perhaps a souvenir or two from your European adventure.

SPECIAL TOUR CONDITIONS: **The estimated tour price, if payments are made by cash or check, is $4395.00; otherwise, if paying by credit card, the estimated standard non-discounted price is $4495.00.  If you wish to use a credit card for your initial deposit, you will be allowed to pay the remaining payments by check and still receive the discounted tour price. Trip price is based on twin and triple occupancy and includes round trip airfare from Atlanta (airfare is estimated, subject to increase), point-to-point transportation between cities while in Europe, all breakfasts and 3 dinners.  Additionally, *Entrance fees and/or transportation marked with an asterisk as well as city tours or guided tours, and bike rentals are included in the tour price (Check Point Charlie Museum, guided bike tour, Zeppelin Field, Documentation Center Museum, Nuremburg Imperial Castle, Palace of Justice (Courthouse), Dachau Concentration Camp). Additional items may be offered optionally, are subject to availability and are not included in the tour price.   A guaranteed twin room may be available for a supplemental charge of $325.00 per person. Included are the estimated applicable governmental international airline ticket taxes, fuel surcharges, security surcharges, and associated fees. If applicable, unforeseen tax increases will be billed on a supplemental invoice. A minimum number of paying participants may be required to operate the tour.

 

A $500.00 non-refundable (for any reason) application fee / deposit is required to reserve your space on this tour. A second payment of $1000.00, for which you will receive an invoice, will be due no later than 30 days from the date that EA Tours receives your initial payment and online application.   Final payments are due no later than ninety (90) days before departure.

 

Updated tour details (hotels, day by day itinerary, flights, etc.) are scheduled to be released approximately four weeks prior to departure.  Please note:  This is not an officially school sponsored program.
