Day by Day
Sunday, March 26
Today you depart the United States on your overnight flight to Europe. Naturally, meals will be served and optional in-flight entertainment offered. Please refer to your flight schedule for pertinent details.
Monday, March 27
During your layover in Dublin, you will enjoy a guided city tour. You then continue your flight to Munich where you will be met and transfer to your hotel.
Tuesday, March 28
At 9:00 AM you will meet your guide and begin your guided walking tour. Points of interest you will see Marienplatz with the Glockenspiel, Frauenkirche and Viktualien-Markt as well as many other places of interest. In the afternoon you will visit Dachau Concentration Camp for a audio guided visit. This evening you will enjoy dinner at Hofbrauhaus.
Wednesday, March 29
At 8:00 AM you depart your hotel for the castles of Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein. Following your guided visit you will continue to Reutte, Austria, with time to explore before returning to your Munich hotel.
Thursday, March 30
This morning you will travel to Erfurt. Following hotel check-in you will experience a guided walking tour to see Kramerbruck, Domplatz, Petersberg Citadel, St. Mary Cathedral and Church of St. Severus. Dinner tonight is included.
Friday, March 3
Your day is free in Erfurt to explore and visit the archives.
Saturday, April 1
In the morning you will continue your tour as you travel to Salzburg. Tonight you will enjoy dinner and Mozart Concert at St. Peter’s Restaurant, the oldest restaurant in Europe.
Sunday, April 2
A guided walking tour of Old Town and Mirabell Gardens is planned before departing for the Lake District. You will see many of the places used for the filming of The Sound of Music before returning to your hotel.
Monday, April 3
At 8:30 you depart your hotel for travel to Vienna. Upon arrival you will explore the city with your local guide. This evening you enjoy dinner followed by a concert at the Kursalon.
Tuesday, April 4
Your visit to Schonbrunn Palace is scheduled for this morning. You then continue to Bratislava, Slovakia, a lunch break and guided tour. Following free time you travel back to Austria and have a fun evening at a Heuriger in Grinzing before arriving at your hotel.
Wednesday, April 5
At 7:30 AM you depart your hotel and travel to Vienna Airport where you board your flight home., See your flight schedule for details.
