Verona, Vicenza, Padua & Venice

February 24-February 27, 2022

Upon arrival February 25^th, you will transfer to Verona, a delightful city, enjoying a guided city tour* including the Roman Arena* and Juliet’s balcony before continuing to your hotel in Vicenza. Complete the afternoon exploring the city before dinner. The morning of February 26^th, you will depart Vicenza on a scenic excursion to Padua! Padua is an old university town with an illustrious academic history that is rich in art and architecture.  Upon arrival to Padua, a guided tour of the city* is planned, including the Scrovengi Chapel* and St. Anthony’s Basilica*. Dedicate this afternoon to exploring Vicenza where you may optionally visit Teatro Olympico. Your adventure continues February 27^th, on a picturesque excursion to Venice! Enjoy a guided tour of the city* where you may see sights such as St. Mark’s Basilica*, the colorful Doge’s Palace*, and the famous Bell Tower. This afternoon, you may enjoy an optional Gondola ride (free to those who register and pay the deposit by the deadline). Returning to Vicenza this evening.

 

Florence

February 28-March 3, 2022

As birthplace of the Renaissance, Florence will thrill you with its treasures! Upon your arrival on February 28^th, spend this afternoon at leisure exploring museums of choice and the famous markets or the Gold and Silver shops on the Ponte Vecchio after checking into your hotel. March 1^st will begin with a guided city tour*, to include many of the important sights of this historic town including the Accademia*, home to Michelangelo’s “David”, and the magnificent Duomo*.  This afternoon explore area points of interest with your tour leader such as the Uffizi Gallery*. On March 2^nd a visit to the Bargello Museum* is planned before spending the rest of your day at leisure exploring area points of interest with your advisor such as Boboli Gardens, Dante’s house, the Medici Chapel, various museums and shopping in the straw market and open-air market. On March 3^rd a highlight of your Italian adventure will be an excursion to Siena and San Gimignano where you will take a step back in time to Medieval Tuscany, before returning to Florence this evening.

 

Rome

March 4-7, 2022

Bid farewell to Florence on March 4^th, as you continue to Rome. After checking into your hotel, enjoy time exploring this beautiful city before ending the day with dinner. On March 5^th, Rome will welcome you with a guided city walking tour* including visits to the Colosseum & Forum*. Dedicate this afternoon exploring Rome with your tour leader including such sights as the Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and much more. March 6^th enjoy a guided tour* of the Vatican Museums*. Later this afternoon you may optionally wish to visit such sights as San Pietro in Vincoli, Castle Sant Angelo or many others with your tour leader. On March 7^th, you will depart for your return flight to the United States with unforgettable memories of your Italian journey!

SPECIAL TOUR CONDITIONS: **The estimated tour price, if payments are made by cash or check, is $3,796.00; (Airfare included) otherwise, if paying by credit card, the standard estimated non-discounted price is $3,896.00 (Airfare Included).  If you wish to use a credit card for your initial deposit, you will be allowed to pay the remaining payments by check and still receive the discounted tour price. The trip is based on triple occupancy and includes round trip airfare from Orlando, point-to point transportation between cities while in Europe, all breakfasts, and 2 dinners. Additionally, *Entrance fees and/or transportation marked with an asterisk as well as Guided tours in Verona, Padua, Venice, Florence, and Rome are included in the tour price (Roman Arena, Scrovengi Chapel, St. Anthony’s Basilica, Doge’s Palace, St. Marks Basilica, Gondola, Accademia, Duomo, Uffizi,  Bargello Museum, Colosseum and Forum, Vatican Museums and excursion to Siena and San Gimignano).

 Regardless of the reason, if a tour departure is cancelled for ANY reason(s) which are beyond the control of EA Tours, the tour conditions (amended or otherwise) apply, WITHOUT EXCEPTION.

 Additional items may be offered optionally, are subject to availability and are not included in the tour price. A guaranteed single room may be available for a supplemental charge of $340.00 per person. A guaranteed twin room may be available for a supplemental charge of $65.00 per person. Included are the estimated applicable governmental international airline ticket taxes, fuel surcharges, security surcharges, and associated fees. If applicable, unforeseen tax increases will be billed on a supplemental invoice. A minimum number of paying participants may be required to operate the tour.  A $250.00 non-refundable (for ANY reason) initial deposit is required to reserve your space on this tour. A second payment of $250.00, will be due no later than 90 days after your initial payment. Final payments are due no later than seventy (70) days before departure.
