On March 11th, you will depart Orlando to spend 8 wonderful days discovering the splendors of France.  Fantastic excursions, cultural encounters, historical sites, delicious food and exotic shopping make this trip exciting and rewarding.  Bring these amazing memories home with you on March 18th.

PARIS

March 12 – 13, 2021

Paris waits to greet you on March 12th with all the charm and the elegance for which it is famous.  The Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, and Place de la Concorde are among a few of the important sights in this “City of Light” you may see on your guided city tour*.  This afternoon a visit to the Louvre* (the world’s largest art museum), housing such legends as the Venus de Milo, the Winged Victory and the Mona Lisa is planned. Finish your first night in Paris with dinner. On the morning of March 13th, you will travel outside of Paris on an excursion to Versailles*, home to Louis XIV, the Sun King. The opulent Palace and the surrounding grounds will astound you! This evening, you will see the “City of Light” from atop the Eiffel Tower (free to those who submit their application and deposit by the deadline). On the morning of March 14th, you will depart Paris on a train to Caen!

CAEN

March 14 – 15, 2021

Upon arrival in Normandy on March 14th, a visit is planned to the Bayeux*, to behold the famous tapestry, before finishing the day at your hotel for check-in and dinner.  March 15th is dedicated to a full day guided excursion to Caen Memorial* commemorating World War II and the Battle for Caen. Stop for lunch before continuing to tour the D-Day Beaches* of Omaha, Utah and visiting the American Cemetery*, which was the first American cemetery on European soil in World War II.  On March 16th, you will bid farewell to Normandy as you return to Paris by train.

 PARIS

March 16 – 18, 2021

As you return to Paris March 16th, spend the afternoon sightseeing with your tour leader, simply enjoying the ambiance of the Parisian Boulevards.  March 17th enjoy some last-minute shopping and sightseeing with your tour leader to such sites as the Sacre Coeur. This afternoon a tour of the Catacombs* is planned. Spend your last evening abroad enjoying your farewell dinner aboard a Seine River Cruise*.  The following morning, March 18th, you will return to the United States with fond memories, amazing experiences and perhaps a souvenir or two from your European adventure.
