Berlin

June 13 – 15, 2021

You will arrive in Berlin to begin your European adventure on June 13th, exploring Berlin with your tour leader, visiting such sites as the Brandenburg Gate, Holocaust Museum* and area points of interest. Finish the evening with dinner. On June 14th, morning visits are planned to Check Point Charlie and the Berlin Wall Museum*. Spend the afternoon exploring the city with a guided Bike Tour*. This evening you may optionally ascend the Fernsehturm Tower (free to those who submit their application and deposit by the deadline). June 15th spend the day enjoying the charm of this beautiful city and optional museums of your choice with your tour leader.

Nuremberg

June 16-17, 2021

This morning your time in Berlin ends as you travel to Nuremberg on June 16th. Once you arrive, you will enjoy exploring area points of interest with your tour leader after checking into your hotel. Later, visit Zeppelin Field* and guided tour of the Documentation Center Museum* is scheduled. June 17th enjoy planned exploration of the city with your tour leader, where you may see such sites as Nuremberg Imperial Castle*, Palace of Justice (courthouse)*, Hauptmarkt with its famous fountain, and gothic St. Lorenz Church*.

 

Munich

June 18, 2021

The morning of June 18th, you will bid farewell to Nuremberg as you continue your journey to Munich. A visit to the Dachau Concentration Camp* en-route to your hotel is planned. After checking into your hotel, dedicate time for a guided city tour* to area points of interest including Marienplatz and Munich’s famous old town.  Spend the evening exploring area points of interest with your tour leader to such sites as the Maximillian University, Englischer Garten, BMW World and Olympia Park, take this time to visit the Olympic Tower if you prefer. Finish the evening with dinner.

 Amsterdam

June 19–21, 2021

June 19th bid farewell to Munich as you continue your journey to Amsterdam by plane*. A highlight of this day will be biking* with your tour leader through the network of centuries-old canals, in this delightful city. Visit the Anne Frank House*, where Anne Frank took refuge during the Nazi invasion of World War II and wrote her famous diary. Explore the Rijksmuseum*, dedicated to the arts and history of Amsterdam. Ending today with dinner.  Begin June 20th with mass at Amsterdam Cathedral, the Basilica of Saint Nicolas prior to spending the day biking* to sights as planned by your advisor with visits to the Flower Market, Dam Square and Rembrandt Square. This afternoon there will be ample time for last minute sightseeing or shopping for souvenirs. Conclude your journey with a farewell dinner this evening. The following morning, June 21st, you will return to the United States with fond memories, amazing experiences and perhaps a souvenir or two from your European adventure.
