Depart New Orleans for London.
July 17-Saturday-Day 2
Arrive in United Kingdom. Transfer to London via Windsor with guided tour/entry. (Time for lunch in Windsor.) Continue to London hotel. Dinner # 1 Included. Overnight London.
July 18-Sunday-Day 3
Breakfast, Guided London city tour of major sights – Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, changing of the guard, etc. Balance of day free. Overnight London.
July 19-Monday-Day 4
Breakfast, London free day. Overnight London.
July 20-Tuesday-Day 5
After breakfast, visit museums of choice such as British Museum, or others in morning. Transfer for visit/entry of Leeds Castle. Overnight Leeds Castle area. Dinner # 2 Included.
July 21-Wednesday-Day 6
Breakfast, Excursion and guided tour of Brighton including visit/entry to the Royal Pavilion, continue to Stonehenge for visit/entry then on to Bath. Overnight Bath. Dinner # 3 Included.
July 22-Thursday-Day 7
Breakfast, Guided tour of Bath including visit/entry to Roman Baths. Free afternoon in Bath. Overnight Bath.
July 23-Friday-Day 8
Breakfast, Transfer to Cardiff visit to Cardiff Castle/entry. Overnight Cardiff. Dinner # 4 Included.
July 24-Saturday-Day 9
Breakfast. Am scenic journey through the Brecon Beacons to Chester (3.5 hours). Time in Chester, the best preserved Medieval walled city in Britain, visiting area points of interest with tour leader. Transfer to York for Overnight.
July 25-Sunday-Day 10
After breakfast you will enjoy a guided tour of York including a wall walk and a visit to York Minster. Dinner # 5 Included.
July 26-Monday-Day 11
Spend today discovering area points of interest such as the Jorvik Viking Centre, shopping in ‘The Shambles” or simply having tea at Betty’s, a famous tea house.
July 27-Tuesday-Day 12
This morning you will continue your adventure to Edinburgh with a visit to Hadrian’s wall and Jedburgh Abbey along the way. Upon arriving in Edinburgh, you will check into your hotel. Dinner # 6 is included.
July 28-Wednesday-Day 13
Begin today with a visit to Rosslyn Chapel followed by a guided tour of the city including an entrance to Edinburgh castle. After lunch a visit is planned to Holyrood house Palace.
July 29-Thursday-Day 14
Today you will enjoy an excursion to Stirling castle and Castle Doune, a filming location of “Outlander”. Farewell Dinner (#7) is planned for this evening.
July 30-Friday-Day 15
Day at leisure. You may wish to visit such optional sights as the Royal Yacht Britannia, Scottish National Gallery, the City Art Centre or many other points of interest.
July 31-Saturday-Day 16
Day at leisure. You may wish to visit area points of interest.
