Sorrento
July 10 – 12, 2021

On July 10th, you will arrive to Rome and transfer immediately to Sorrento. Sorrento, an intimate holiday town/village, is along the most visited route in Campania and offers spectacular views of the Amalfi Coast. On July 11th, you will enjoy a special excursion along the Amalfi coast to the lovely villages of Amalfi and Positano* to enjoy their ambience. Amalfi, the oldest and one of the most popular resort towns on the Amalfi Coast and home to a lovely 10th–century Duomo, features richly colored façades and buildings. July 12th, you will enjoy your day on the famous nearby Isle of Capri* where you may optionally visit the Blue Grotto (free if your application is received by December 15th) or the ruins of the Villa of Tiberius.

 

Florence
July 13 – 14, 2021

July 13th, you will say goodbye to Sorrento as you continue your adventure to Florence, with a stop in Pompeii* along the way. The nearly 2000-year old excavations and ruins will amaze you. Upon your arrival to Florence, you will enjoy evening sightseeing and dinner with your tour leader after checking into your hotel. As the birthplace of the Renaissance, Florence will thrill you with its treasures. July 14th begins with a walking tour of the city*, during which you may see many of the important sites of this historic town including Michelangelo’s “David” at the Accademia*, Santa Maria Novella, the Duomo, and the eight-sided Baptistry.

 

Rome
July 15 – 18, 2021

On July 15th you will bid farewell to Florence as you travel to Rome. Following check-in to your Rome hotel, you will enjoy a guided tour* of the Colosseum and Forum.” Your evening is devoted to sightseeing and dinner with your tour leader. Begin July 16th with a guided visit to the Vatican Museums* including St. Peter’s Basilica* and the Sistine Chapel*. Spend this afternoon exploring area points of interest with your tour leader such as the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and much more. July 17th takes you for a visit to the Domus Aurea and the Palace of Nero*, a staggeringly large and ornate palace, built in the heart of Rome as a place for pure entertainment. The afternoon will be devoted to additional sightseeing, shopping and, of course, opportunities to enjoy Gelato. This evening culminates your Italian journey with a farewell dinner*. On July 18th you will return home with souvenirs, memories, and a photo or two in tow marking the end of your Italian adventure.

SPECIAL TOUR CONDITIONS: **The tour price, if payments are made by cash or check, is $4,495.00; otherwise, if paying by credit card, the standard non-discounted price is $4,595.00. If you wish to use a credit card for your initial deposit, you will be allowed to pay the remaining payments by check and still receive the discounted tour price. Trip price is based on triple occupancy and includes round trip airfare from New York, point-to-point transportation between cities while in Europe, all breakfasts and 5 dinners. Additionally, *entrance fees/excursions and/or transportation marked with an asterisk as well as city tours in Pompeii, Rome and Florence are included in the tour price (Isle of Capri, Amalfi/Positano, Pompeii, Vatican Museums, St. Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel, Colosseum and Forum, Accademia, Palace of Nero). Additional items may be offered optionally, are subject to availability and are not included in the tour price. A guaranteed single room may be available for a supplemental charge of $685.00. A guaranteed twin room may be available for a supplemental charge of $455.00 per person. Included are the estimated applicable governmental international airline ticket taxes, fuel surcharges, security surcharges, and associated fees. If applicable, unforeseen tax increases will be billed on a supplemental invoice. A minimum number of paying participants may be required to operate the tour.

 

To reserve your space on this tour, it is requested that an online Application and Participation Agreement be filed by December 15, 2020. An initial, first payment of $500. will be due no later than February 1, 2021. A second payment of $500. will be due no later than March 15, 2021. Final payments are due no later than seventy (70) days before departure. All refund requests / cancellation notices MUST be sent to EA Tours in writing. For a refund request received by EA Tours, from February 2, 2021, up to and including March 15, 2021, a complete refund, minus $100.00 (non-refundable fee) will be issued. For any cancellation received from March 16, 2021, up to and including May 1, 2021, a complete refund, minus a 40% cancellation penalty of the TOUR COST, will be issued. For any cancellation received from May 2, 2021, up to and including June 2, 2021, a complete refund, minus a 75% cancellation penalty of the TOUR COST, will be issued. For any cancellation received from June 3, 2021, up to and including July 9, 2021 the cancellation penalty is 100% of the tour price.
