Venice

August 31 – September 2, 2019

Upon your arrival in Venice on August 31^st, you will travel to your hotel by private water taxi.  An optional gondola ride is planned for the afternoon (free to those who register by the deadline).  Spend the remainder of the day at leisure as you explore this canal city with your tour leader.  A guided walking tour* including Basilica San Marco* is planned for the morning of September 1^st.  In the afternoon you will visit the Doge’s Palace*.  On the morning of September 2^nd, you travel by first class train to Florence.

Florence

September 2 – 5, 2019

As birthplace of the Renaissance, Florence will thrill you with its treasures! Upon your arrival on September 2^nd, you will transfer to your hotel and begin enjoying this wonderful city.  On September 3^rd, you will begin the day with a guided city tour*, to include many of the important sights of this historic town including the Accademia*, home to Michelangelo’s “David”.  Other points of interest that you may see are the Uffizi Gallery, Boboli Gardens and the Medici Chapel.  There will be time for shopping in the straw market and along the Ponte Vecchio.   September 4^th, is dedicated to an excursion into the Tuscan countryside where you will enjoy a wonderful tour, wine tasting and lunch at a beautiful winery*.  September 5^th brings another exciting adventure as you travel by train to Naples and then continue by private coach to Sorrento.  

Sorrento

September 5 – 7, 2019

Sorrento is a beautiful seaside town located on the Bay of Naples. Your tour leader will point out Mt. Vesuvius, take you exploring around Piazza Tasso and help you take an optional boat to Capri if you choose to do so.  On September 6^th, a full day excursion is planned to the Amalfi Coast*.  On September 7^th you travel to Rome. 

Rome

September 7 – 10, 2019

Following hotel check-in on September 7^th, you will begin exploration with your tour leader.  Nearby Piazza Navona with its street entertainers and beautiful fountains, as well as the Trevi Fountain are sure to be enjoyed.  On September 8^th, a guided tour of the city* including a visit to the Colosseum and Forum* is planned.  The morning of September 9^th will begin with a guided tour of the Vatican Museums* including St. Peter’s Basilica* and the Sistine Chapel*, where you will view the gorgeous ceiling painted by the illustrious Michelangelo and the amazing Raphael Rooms.  On September 10^th, you will bid farewell to the charm of Italy and return home, taking with you fond memories of your incredible journey.  Group transportation for Rome airport will be provided.

SPECIAL TOUR CONDITIONS: **The tour price, if payments are made by cash or check, is $4,080.00; otherwise, if paying by credit card, the standard non-discounted price is $4,180.00.  If you wish to use a credit card for your initial deposit, you will be allowed to pay the remaining payments by check and still receive the discounted tour price.  Trip price is based on twin occupancy and includes point-to point transportation between cities while in Italy, all breakfasts, wine tasting and lunch and 4 dinners.  Additionally, *entrance fees and/or transportation marked with an asterisk as well as city tours in Venice, Florence and Rome are included in the tour price (Basilica San Marco, Doge’s Palace, Accademia, Amalfi Coast Tour, Colosseum and Forum, Vatican Museum and St. Peter’s Basilica.  In the unlikely event that EA Tours cancels the tour and is unable to operate a substitute itinerary, the tour cost including the initial deposit is fully refundable. Additional items may be offered optionally, are subject to availability and are not included in the tour price.  A guaranteed single room may be available for a supplemental charge of $545.00.  A minimum number of paying participants may be required to operate the tour.  A $500.00 non-refundable initial deposit is required to reserve your space on this tour. A second payment of $1,000.00, will be due no later than 30 days after your initial payment. Final payments are due no later than seventy (70) days before departure.
