Paris

June 19 – 22, 2020

Paris waits to greet you on June 19^th with all the charm and the elegance for which it is famous.  The Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, and Place de la Concorde are among a few of the important sights in this “City of Light” you may see on your guided city tour*. Afterwards, you will transfer to your hotel for check in. On June 20^th, a visit to the Louvre* (the world’s largest art museum), is planned, housing such legends as the Venus de Milo, the Winged Victory and the Mona Lisa. Afternoon sightseeing with your tour leader is planned to see such sites as Notre Dame, Sacre Coeur and more. Tonight, you will enjoy ascent on the Eiffel Tower*. Following breakfast on the morning of June 21^st, you will travel outside of Paris to Versailles*, home to Louis XIV, the Sun King. The opulent Palace and the surrounding grounds will astound you! Upon your return to Paris, you may enjoy a Seine River Cruise (free to those who submit their application and deposit by the deadline).

 

Le Mans

June 22 – 24, 2020

On June 22^nd, say ‘au revoir’ to Paris as you board a train to Le Mans. Enjoy traveling on the Holy Cross Heritage trail visiting Fr. Basil Moreau’s home and the congregation’s mother church. June 23^rd will see you venturing off on a day excursion through the French Countryside on your way to the town of Chartres*, home to the largest Gothic cathedral in Europe. After taking in the magnificent stained-glass windows and learning about the time period during which the cathedral was constructed, set off for the Loire Valley where you will see splendid chateaux such as Chateau Chambord* before returning to Le Mans this evening.

 

Lourdes & Toulouse

June 24 – 27, 2020

You will bid farewell to Le Mans on June 24^th, as you travel to Lourdes, including a guided tour* on June 25^th to the home of Saint Bernadette Soubirous*, the Lourdes Basilica* and the illustrious grottos found within the mountainsides. This evening you will continue your adventure to Toulouse. Begin June 26^th with a guided city tour* including visits to St. Etienne* and the Basilica of St. Sernin*, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the largest remaining Romanesque building in Europe. The following morning, June 27^th, you will return to the United States with fond memories, amazing experiences and perhaps a souvenir or two from your European adventure.

SPECIAL TOUR CONDITIONS: **The tour price, if payments are made by cash or check, is $4,096.00; otherwise, if paying by credit card, the standard non-discounted price is $4,196.00.  If you wish to use a credit card for your initial deposit, you will be allowed to pay the remaining payments by check and still receive the discounted tour price. Trip price is based on triple occupancy and includes round trip airfare from Washington, DC, point-to point transportation between cities while in Europe, all breakfasts and 3 dinners. Additionally, *Entrance fees and/or transportation marked with an asterisk as well as city tours in Paris, Lourdes and Toulouse are included in the tour price (Sightseeing as indicated on the itinerary including visits and entrance fees to the Louvre, Versailles, Eiffel Tower, Saint Bernadette Soubirous, Lourdes Basilica, St. Etienne, Basilica of St. Sernin, excursions to Chartres and Chateau Chambord.) In the unlikely event that EA Tours cancels the tour and is unable to operate a substitute itinerary, the tour cost including the initial deposit is fully refundable. Additional items may be offered optionally, are subject to availability and are not included in the tour price.  A guaranteed single room may be available for a supplemental charge of $535.00 per person. A guaranteed twin room may be available for a supplemental charge of $60.00 per person. Included are the estimated applicable governmental international airline ticket taxes, fuel surcharges, security surcharges, and associated fees. If applicable, unforeseen tax increases will be billed on a supplemental invoice. A minimum number of paying participants may be required to operate the tour. A $500.00 non-refundable initial deposit is required to reserve your space on this tour. All tour participants must submit an online application.
