 London

May 26 – 29, 2020

Upon your arrival to London on May 27^th, you will enjoy a guided tour of the city, to include Westminster Abbey*, before transferring to your hotel. Dinner* will follow after hotel check-in.

Begin May 28^th with a visit to Churchill’s War Museum*, where Winston Churchill and others directed the Second World War. This afternoon, a visit is planned to the Tower of London*, officially Her Majesty’s Royal Palace and home to the Crown Jewels. This evening, you may optionally wish to ride the London Eye (free to those who submit their application and deposit by the deadline). The morning of May 29^th, you will depart London to visit the Warner Bros. Studio – The Making of Harry Potter* before crossing the English Channel bound for Normandy.

 

Normandy

May 30 – 31, 2020

The morning of May 30^th marks your arrival to Normandy Beach. Once you arrive, you will tour the D-Day Beaches* and the Caen Memorial*, commemorating World War II and the Battle for Caen. Dinner* is included tonight. May 31^st begins with Mass at Sainte-Mère-Église, one of two areas where airborne operations were conducted and the first French town liberated by the Allies. This afternoon will be dedicated to visiting the American Cemetery*, which was first American cemetery on European soil in World War II. This evening, you will bid farewell to Normandy as you continue your journey to Paris by train*.

 

Paris

June 1 – June 4, 2020

The morning of June 1^st, you will enjoy discovering the city with your tour leader to view the amazing sites of the city of Paris. This afternoon, visits are planned to Notre Dame*, Saint Chappelle* and the Conciergerie* with your tour leader. Tonight, an ascent of the Eiffel Tower is planned.  Paris will greet you the morning of June 2^nd with panoramic biking tour* of the city. Later this afternoon, enjoy discovering area points of interest with your tour leader to such sites as Sacre Coeur, Montmartre and much more. Dedicate June 3^rd to visiting sites as planned by your advisor. This afternoon, there will be ample time for last minute sightseeing or shopping for souvenirs. This evening, you will take a cruise on the river* Seine for your Farewell Dinner*. On June 4^th, you will board a plane bound for home with souvenirs, memories, and perhaps a photo or two in tow marking the end of your European adventure.
