On June 29th, you will depart Memphis to begin your European adventure, landing in the timeless city of Budapest to discover its hidden treasures. Cultural encounters, the Passion Play, preserved historical sites, delicious food and wonderful shopping make this trip exciting and rewarding.

BUDAPEST

June 30 – July 3, 2020

On June 30th, you will arrive in Budapest, Hungary, where you will be met and begin to enjoy this beautiful city.  July 1st, begins with a guided city tour*.  Points of interest that you will
see include the Great Synagogue, Great Market, Heroes’ Square, the Baths, St. Stephen’s Basilica*, Opera House*, City Park and Parliament*. A fun folklore dinner and show* is planned for this evening. On July 2nd, you cross the river to Buda where your guided tour* will include Matthias Church* and Fishermen’s Bastion*.  On July 3rd, you travel to Vienna.

VIENNA

July 3 – July 5, 2020

The morning of July 3rd, you will begin your Austrian adventure as you arrive in Vienna. Upon arrival you will experience a guided city tour* including St.Stephen’s Cathedral* and  Imperial Treasury*. This evening you will enjoy a concert at the Kursalon*. On July 4th, a day trip to Melk Abbey* is planned. A fun dinner at a Heuriger* in Neustift is arranged as you return to Vienna. July 5th you travel to Salzburg.

SALZBURG

July 5 – July 8, 2020

Your tour continues on July 5th, as you arrive in Salzburg. En-route you will stop at Mondsee to see the church featured in the Sound of Music movie. Additionally, stops at other Sound of Music sites will be visited including Hellbrunn Palace*. A Guided Walking Tour* of Salizburg is arranged for morning of July 6th. Your afternoon is free for a day of exploration and souvenir shopping. A day trip to Berchtesgaden* and Hitler’s Eagle’s Nest* is scheduled for July 7th. On July 8th, you will depart for your hotel in Garmisch.

OBERAMMERGAU PASSION PLAY

July 8 – July 10, 2020

As you travel to your Passion Play Hotel, on July 8th, you will have time to explore the village of Oberammergau and a Tour of Linderhof*. July 9th, plans include free time in the morning as well as the Passion Play Program* in the afternoon and evening.

ROTHENBURG OB DER TAUBER

July 10 – July 12, 2020

On July 10th, your adventure continues as you travel to Rothenburg. A stop at Neuschwanstein Castle* is scheduled en-route. A Guided Walking Tour* including St.Jacobs Church* is your morning itinerary for July 11th. The afternoon offers you free time to visit the many stores and museums in the village. On July 12th, you will travel to Stuttgart.

STUTTGART

July 12 – July 13, 2020

After free time in the morning of July 12th, you will travel to your Stuttgart Airport Hotel. Your return flight for the United States is scheduled for the morning of July 13th.

SPECIAL TOUR CONDITIONS: **The tour price, if payments are made by cash or check, is $6,697.00; otherwise, if paying by credit card, the standard non-discounted price is $6,797.00.  If you wish to use a credit card for your initial deposit, you will be allowed to pay the remaining payments by check and still receive the discounted tour price. Trip price is based on twin occupancy and includes round trip airfare from Memphis, point-to point transportation between cities while in Europe, all breakfasts and 9 dinners (Includes Folklore Dinner and Heuriger).  Additionally, *Entrance fees and/or transportation marked with an asterisk are included in the tour price (St.Stephen’s Basilica, Opera House, Parliament, Matthias Church, Fishermen’s Bastion, St.Stephen’s Cathedral, Imperial Treasury, Concert, Melk Abbey, Hellbrunn Palace, Eagle’s Nest, Linderhof, Passion Play, Neuschwanstein, and St.Jacob’s Church). Guided tours in Buda, Pest, Vienna, Salzburg, and Rothenburg. In the unlikely event that EA Tours cancels the tour and is unable to operate a substitute itinerary, the tour cost including a portion of your deposit may be refundable.  Additional items may be offered optionally, are subject to availability and are not included in the tour price.  A guaranteed single room may be available for a supplemental charge of $1175.00. Included are the estimated applicable governmental international airline ticket taxes, fuel surcharges security surcharges, and associated fees.
