Continue your journey to New York City, one of the most populous metropolitan areas in the world. You will depart this morning from Washington, D.C. bound for New York City. Upon arrival to New York, you will be transferred to your hotel and then begin the Grand Finale of your adventure. You will be using a Hop On/Hop Off* sightseeing bus for much of your sightseeing in New York. You will find the numerous sites of this American crown jewel both awesome and exciting.

Your entire day is devoted to local sightseeing including such highlights as the Statue of Liberty*, the Empire State Building*, 9/11 Memorial Museum*, a memorial built to honor and remember those killed in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, as well as sightseeing with your teacher.

Today, experience thought-provoking, modern and contemporary art at The Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art* and the Museum of Modern Art*. You will also enjoy The Frick Collection*, which is known for its distinguished Old Master paintings and outstanding examples of European sculpture and decorative arts.

Today you depart from New York on your late afternoon return flight home to New Orleans with fantastic memories and a deeper understanding of our nation’s history.

SPECIAL TOUR CONDITIONS: ** The tour price, if payments are made by cash or check, is $2780.00. Otherwise, if paying by credit card, the standard non-discounted price is $2,880.00. If you wish to use a credit card for your initial deposit, you will be allowed to pay the remaining payments by check and still receive the discounted tour price. Trip price is based on four persons to a room and includes roundtrip airline transportation from New Orleans, LA, hotel accommodations, 7 breakfasts, sightseeing, metro card, train, entrance fees if required and coach transportation, where applicable. Anticipated sites to be visited (including entrance fees if applicable) include Colonial Hauntings Ghost Tour, Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, Hop On Hop Off Sightseeing bus in New York, Statue of Liberty, 9/11 Memorial Museum, Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art, Museum of Modern Art, Frick Collection and the Empire State Building. Please note that all above-mentioned scheduled activities are subject to change or cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control (i.e. availability, weather, traffic, etc.). In the unlikely event that EA Tours cancels the tour and is unable to operate a substitute itinerary, the tour cost including the initial deposit is fully refundable. Additional items may be offered optionally, are subject to availability and are not included in the tour price. Included are the estimated applicable governmental airline ticket taxes, fuel surcharges, security surcharges, and associated fees.
