On May 29th, you will depart New Orleans on a flight bound for Norfolk, Virginia, where you will transfer to your hotel in Williamsburg to begin your trip. Your journey will continue to our nation’s capital, which will leave you with a deeper pride and understanding of American History. Museum encounters, memorial visits and preserved historical sites make this trip exciting and rewarding. Continue your journey to New York City, one of the most populous metropolitan areas in the world. Today you depart from New Orleans and fly to Norfolk, Va. where you will transfer to your hotel in Williamsburg. Following hotel check-in, you will enjoy the afternoon at Jamestown*. Following your time at Jamestown you will return to Williamsburg for an evening Colonial Hauntings Ghost Tour*.

Following breakfast, you will enjoy the day at Colonial Williamsburg*. Upon completion of your touring Colonial Williamsburg, you will depart on a later afternoon train from Williamsburg, Va. to connect with your train to Washington, D.C.

Upon arrival to Union Station in Washington, D.C., you will transfer to your hotel and prepare for the second part of your Patriotic Art and History Adventure.

Your entire day is devoted to visiting Arlington National Cemetery* as well as various Smithsonian Museums. Following your time in some of America’s most important museums, you will enjoy an evening illumination Memorials Tour*.

NEW YORK CITY, NY

June 1, 2019

You will depart this morning from Washington, D.C. bound for New York City. Upon arrival to New York, you will be transferred to your hotel and then begin the Grand Finale of your adventure. You will be using a Hop On/Hop Off* sightseeing bus for much of your sightseeing in New York. You will find the numerous sites of this American crown jewel both awesome and exciting.

Your entire day is devoted to local sightseeing including such highlights as the Statue of Liberty*, the Empire State Building*, 9/11 Memorial Museum*, a memorial built to honor and remember those killed in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, as well as sightseeing with your teacher.

June 3, 2019

Today, experience thought-provoking, modern and contemporary art at The Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art* and the Museum of Modern Art*. You will also enjoy The Frick Collection*, which is known for its distinguished Old Master paintings and outstanding examples of European sculpture and decorative arts.

Your final day in the Big Apple will take you to Rockefeller Plaza*, a “city within a city,” that has long been a hub of remarkable art, fashion, and entertainment, Times Square*, sometimes referred to as “The Center of the Universe”, and time to enjoy shopping in some of New York’s famous stores and market areas.

Today you depart from New York on your late afternoon return flight home to New Orleans with fantastic memories and a deeper understanding of our nation’s history.

SPECIAL TOUR CONDITIONS: ** The tour price, if payments are made by cash or check, is $2780.00. Otherwise, if paying by credit card, the standard non-discounted price is $2,880.00. If you wish to use a credit card for your initial deposit, you will be allowed to pay the remaining payments by check and still receive the discounted tour price. Trip price is based on four persons to a room and includes roundtrip airline transportation from New Orleans, LA, hotel accommodations, 7 breakfasts, sightseeing, metro card, train, entrance fees if required and coach transportation, where applicable. Anticipated sites to be visited (including entrance fees if applicable) include Colonial Hauntings Ghost Tour, Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, Hop On Hop Off Sightseeing bus in New York, Statue of Liberty, 9/11 Memorial Museum, Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art, Museum of Modern Art, Frick Collection and the Empire State Building. Please note that all above-mentioned scheduled activities are subject to change or cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control (i.e. availability, weather, traffic, etc.). In the unlikely event that EA Tours cancels the tour and is unable to operate a substitute itinerary, the tour cost including the initial deposit is fully refundable. Additional items may be offered optionally, are subject to availability and are not included in the tour price. Included are the estimated applicable governmental airline ticket taxes, fuel surcharges, security surcharges, and associated fees. There is a $250.00 non-refundable deposit due to be eligible for the trip no later than January 31st with subsequent payments due as follows: February 15th – $330.00, March 4th – $750.00 and a final payment of $1450.00 due on April 15th.
