Switzerland and Italy
Saturday, October 13th
Today you depart the United States on your overnight flight to Europe. Naturally, meals will be served and optional in-flight entertainment offered. Please refer to your flight schedule for pertinent details.
Sunday, October 14th
Upon your arrival in Geneva, you will travel to your hotel for check-in. You will begin to explore the city with your tour leader. You may optionally wish to take the cable car “Téléphérique du Salève” up Mt. Selève for an amazing view. Dinner is included.
Monday, October 15th
This morning you will visit the World Health Organization and in the afternoon you will take a tour of the United Nations. Dinner is included.
Tuesday, October 16th
The Geneva Foundation for Medical Education and Research is your destination this morning. Your afternoon includes visits to the Natural History Museum. Dinner is included.
Wednesday, October 17th
Today you will visit The International Committee of the Red Cross in the morning. In the afternoon you travel by train to Florence, Italy. Dinner allowance.
Thursday, October 18th
This morning a guided walking tour is planned. Included will be a visit to the Academia where you will see Michelangelo’s statue of David. Dinner is included.
Friday, October 19th
This morning you travel to Rome. In the afternoon you will begin to explore with your tour leader.
Points of interest will include Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. Dinner is included.
Saturday, October 20th
Today a guided walking tour to include the Colosseum and Forum is scheduled. In the afternoon you will tour the Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica. In the late afternoon a special presentation is planned. Tonight is your farewell dinner.
Sunday, October 21st
This morning you transfer to Rome airport where you board your return flight to the U.S
