Milan

March 9, 2019

Upon arrival to Milan you will you will enjoy a guided city tour* and a visit to La Scala Opera House* en-route to your hotel. This famous opera house is where many composers wrote and conducted works including such greats as Rossini, Puccini, Verdi and Toscanini.  Dinner is included tonight.

 

March 10, 2019

Dedicate today to exploring area points of interest with your tour leader. You’ll want to see the renowned Piazza del Duomo with its lacy Gothic cathedral and the Golden Triangle with the Via Montenapoleone, one of Italy’s three great shopping streets. Before you leave, both your vision and your shopping-acumen can be expanded by an optional visit to the Brera District, a sprawling shopping area around the Brera Museum.

 

Florence

March 11, 2019

This morning you will bid farewell to Milan as you travel to Florence. Upon your arrival, the afternoon will be spent exploring optional area points of interest with your tour leader such as the Boboli Gardens, Dante’s house, the Medici Chapel, shopping in the straw market and open-air market, visiting a leather factory and strolling across the Ponte-Vecchio to see the gold and silver shops.  Dinner is included tonight.

This morning will begin with a guided city tour* to include many of the important sights of this historic town including the Accademia*, home to Michelangelo’s “David”, Santa Maria Novella, the Duomo*, the eight-sided Baptistery, and the Uffizi Gallery (free to those who submit their application and deposit before the deadline).

 

Rome

March 13, 2019

Today, you will say goodbye to Florence as you continue your Italian adventure to Rome. Upon your arrival, you will enjoy a guided tour of the city* including a visit to the Pantheon* and the Colosseum and Forum* before checking into your Rome hotel.

 

March 14, 2019

Begin today with a guided visit to the Vatican Museums* including St. Peter’s Basilica* and the Sistine Chapel*. Spend this evening exploring area points of interest with your tour leader such as the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and much more.

 

March 15, 2019

Today, a visit is planned to the Borghese Gallery*, which has been defined as the most beautiful collection in the world. Tonight, your time in Rome will culminate with a farewell dinner*.

 

March 16, 2019

This morning, you will board a plane bound for home with souvenirs, memories, and perhaps a photo or two in tow marking the end of your European adventure.

SPECIAL TOUR CONDITIONS: **The tour price, if payments are made by cash or check, is $3,290.00 plus airline taxes and related fees of $587.00; otherwise, if paying by credit card, the standard non-discounted price is $3,390.00 plus airline taxes and related fees.  If you wish to use a credit card for your initial deposit, you will be allowed to pay the remaining payments by check and still receive the discounted tour price. Trip price is based on triple occupancy and includes round trip airfare from Tampa, point-to point transportation between cities while in Europe, all breakfasts and 3 dinners.  Additionally, *Entrance fees and/or transportation marked with an asterisk as well as city tours in Milan, Florence, and Rome are included in the tour price (La Scala Opera House, Accademia, Duomo, Colosseum and Forum, Vatican Museum, St. Peter’s Basilica, Sistine Chapel, Pantheon and the Borghese). In the unlikely event that EA Tours cancels the tour and is unable to operate a substitute itinerary, the tour cost including the initial deposit is fully refundable. Additional items may be offered optionally, are subject to availability and are not included in the tour price.  A guaranteed single room may be available for a supplemental charge of $545.00.  A guaranteed twin room may be available for a supplemental charge of $130.00 per person. Included are the estimated applicable governmental international airline ticket taxes, fuel surcharges, security surcharges, and associated fees.
