On April 2nd, you will depart Savannah on a flight bound for New York. New York City is one of the most populous metropolitan areas in the world. Many districts and landmarks have become well known to the approximately 50 million annual visitors. Times Square is the brightly illuminated hub of the Broadway District, one of the world’s biggest pedestrian intersections, and a major center of the world’s entertainment industry. The city hosts many world renowned bridges, skyscrapers and parks. This tour will trace some of the notable sights of New York City’s history and culture. Museum encounters, Broadway shows, and preserved historical sites make this trip exciting and rewarding. Bring these memories home with you on April 5th.

Upon arrival to New York, you will be met by your private coach and transfer to your hotel. After checking in to your hotel, you will depart for Escape the Room (free to those who submit their deposits by the deadline)*. After, enjoy a delicious dinner planned at the Hard Rock Café*. After dinner, “School of Rock”* will be the Broadway highlight tonight featuring a song-list packed with timeless hits.

Begin today with a visit to the Empire State Building* followed by free time. You will have time for any remaining sights you may wish to see. You may optionally choose to visit Chinatown this afternoon before you delight in plenty of New York shopping.
April 4, 2018
Following breakfast, your guided sightseeing tour* will introduce you to such sights as Central Park, Battery Park, Wall Street and Rockefeller Center. A highlight of this morning will be a visit to the Museum of Modern Art*. After lunch on your own, you will visit the 9/11 Memorial and Museum*, a memorial built to honor and remember those killed in the terrorists attacks on September 11, 2001. Following dinner tonight, you will see the Broadway play “Wicked” *; a tale centered around Elphaba, a misunderstood girl with emerald-green skin who grows up to become the notorious Wicked Witch of the West.

After breakfast at your hotel, the rest of the morning will be devoted to shopping and sight-seeing with your chaperones after which you will board your coach for a ride to the airport and take with you memories of this amazing journey.

Sightseeing visits INCLUDE guide and entrance fees (if applicable) to the Empire State Building, the Museum of Modern Art, the 9/11 Museum and Memorial, Broadway play “School of Rock”, and Broadway play “Wicked”. Please note that all above-mentioned scheduled activities are subject to change or cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control (i.e. availability, weather, traffic, etc.).
