May 21st you will depart to begin your European adventure, landing in the timeless city of London on May 22nd and discovering the hidden treasures of this city. Fantastic excursions, cultural encounters, preserved historical sites, delicious foods and wonderful shopping make this trip exciting and rewarding. Bring these memories home with you on May 31st.

London
May 22nd – 25th
London is a brilliant city which offers pageantry, history, creative arts and some of the best shopping. Upon arrival on May 22nd, you will enjoy a guided panoramic city tour* of such sites as Parliament, Buckingham Palace and Big Ben. Continue your introduction to this fabulous city with a visit to the “Eye”, the giant Ferris wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames offering magnificent views of the city below (included for those whose deposit and application is submitted by September 15, 2017). Continue your explorations on May 23rd by viewing the Changing of the Guard and exploring the Tower of London* where the beefeaters tell tall tales and you may view the fabulous Crown Jewels. The afternoon offers time to explore such sites as the British Museum, Trafalgar Square, Covent Gardens, the British Library, National Gallery, Piccadilly Circus and much more. May 24th takes you to the medieval city of Salisbury*; enjoy a guided tour of this splendid Gothic sanctuary which contains 13th century friezes and Crusaders’ tombs. The same day will bring you to the mysterious Salisbury Plain where stands Stonehenge*, an ancient arrangement of huge stones and earth that has baffled archaeologists for years. This evening, time is planned at leisure where you may optionally enjoy a theatre performance, shopping at Harrods or visiting one of the numerous churches and museums. On May 25th, you depart London for travel under the English Channel to Paris.
Paris
May 25th – May 28th
Upon arrival in Paris, spend the afternoon enjoying sightseeing in the “City of Light” after checking into your hotel. Your guided tour of the city* includes such famous landmarks as the Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower*, Champs Elysees, and the Place de la Concorde. The morning of May 26th you will visit the Louvre* (world’s largest art museum), housing such legends as the Venus de Milo, the Winged Victory and the Mona Lisa. This afternoon, visits are planned to Notre Dame and Montmartre to view its famous artists. Later this evening, enjoy a thrilling ascent of the Eiffel Tower*. May 27th begins with an excursion to the Palace of Versailles*, once home to King Louis XIV, the “Sun King”. The Palace and grounds are sure to enchant you with their opulent splendor. This evening you may optionally wish to enjoy a Seine River Cruise. There will be ample time for last minute sightseeing, shopping for souvenirs or delighting in Parisian Boulevards and cafes with your tour leader. Continue your adventure on May 28th as you depart Paris and travel to Rome!
Rome
May 28th – May 31st
Rome the “Eternal City” and capital of Italy, is a magnificent city built on seven hills, and is literally layered with history, one civilization built on top of another. Your panoramic sightseeing tour* will introduce you to twenty-first century Rome, a breathtaking mixture of ruins and monuments, fantastic fountains, beautiful piazzas and innumerable museums. The Forum*, Colosseum*, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, and Trevi Fountain are but a few of the sights awaiting your arrival. A tour is planned on May 29th to Vatican City, with a visit to St. Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican Museums*, including the Sistine Chapel. Your final day, May 30th offers time for last minute souvenir / gift buying and additional explorations. On May 31st, return to the United States with fond memories, amazing experiences and perhaps a souvenir or two from your European adventure.
SPECIAL TOUR CONDITIONS: **The tour price, if payments are made by cash or check, is $3,995.00; otherwise, if paying by credit card, the standard non-discounted price is $4,095.00. If you wish to use a credit card for your initial deposit, you will be allowed to pay the remaining payments by check and still receive the discounted tour price. Trip price is based on triple occupancy and includes round trip airfare from Montgomery, point-to point transportation between cities while in Europe, all breakfasts and all evening meals. Additionally, *Entrance fees and/or transportation marked with an asterisk as well as city tours in London, Paris, and Rome are included in the tour price (Tower of London, Stonehenge, Salisbury, Louvre, Versailles, Eiffel Tower, Colosseum, Forum and Vatican Museum – pending availability). In the unlikely event that EA Tours cancels the tour and is unable to operate a substitute itinerary, the tour cost including the initial deposit is fully refundable. Additional items may be offered optionally, are subject to availability and are not included in the tour price. A guaranteed single room may be available for a supplemental charge of $400.00. A guaranteed twin room may be available for a supplemental charge of $150.00 per person. Included are the estimated applicable governmental international airline ticket taxes, fuel surcharges security surcharges, and associated fees. If applicable, unforeseen tax increases will be billed on a supplemental invoice. A minimum number of paying participants may be required to operate the tour. A $500.00 non-refundable initial deposit is required to reserve your space on this tour. All tour participants must submit an online application.
