On June 4th, you will depart Washington to begin your Asian adventure, crossing the International Dateline on June 5th and landing in the timeless capital city of Bangkok, Thailand, on June 6th. Fantastic excursions, cultural encounters, preserved historical sites, delicious foods and exotic shopping are sure to make this trip exciting and rewarding. Bring these memories home with you on June 15th.

June 6 – 9, 2018
Upon arriving in Bangkok on June 6th, you will enjoy an afternoon Tuk Tuk tour* as you explore the best of the city. You will see the 5.5 ton gold Buddha* statue and explore the Wat Traimit* surroundings. Get a glimpse of local life, visit hidden gems and food havens. The next day a guided Floating Market Tour* is planned followed by an evening Bike Tour*. Your final day in Bangkok will include an excursion to The Bridge on the River Kwai and railroad tour*. You will see the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery and the Jeath War Museum as you learn about the building of the infamous bridge that was to link Bangkok to Rangoon. A speedboat ride will take you down the river to the bridge, with time to explore before riding the scenic train. You return to Bangkok for dinner and overnight.
June 9 – 12, 2018
On June 9th, you will continue your adventure as you fly to Phuket. This island lies at the meeting point of the Indian Ocean and the Gulf of Thailand. You will have 2 full days to enjoy one of the world’s finest beach destinations with white sand, palm trees and glittering seas. Be sure to pack swimwear, sunscreen and sunglasses for this fantastic seaside break. On June 12th bid Thailand good-bye as you fly to your next destination, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
June 12 – 15, 2018
Dubai is a city and emirate in the United Arab Emirates known for luxury shopping and ultramodern architecture. Points of interest during your guided city tour* on June 13th include Burj Khalifa, an 830m-tall tower, dominating the skyscraper-filled skyline. At its foot lies Dubai Fountain, with jets and lights choreographed to music. Beaches abound and Dubai has artificial islands offering resorts with water and marine-animal parks are truly a marvel of modern engineering technology. The highlight of June 14th will be a visit to The American University*. Founded in 1995, AUD is accredited regionally and serves UAE nationals and international students from all over the world and offers them an American-style education. On June 15th, you will bid the city good-bye as you board your return flight back to the United States taking with you photographs, souvenirs and many found memories of this fantastic trip.
SPECIAL TOUR CONDITIONS: **The tour price, if payments are made by cash or check, is $6,985.00; otherwise, if paying by credit card, the standard non-discounted price is $7,085.00. If you wish to use a credit card for your initial deposit, you will be allowed to pay the remaining payments by check and still receive the discounted tour price. Trip price is based on twin occupancy and includes round trip airfare from Washington, point-to point transportation between cities, all breakfasts and all dinners. Additionally, *Entrance fees and/or transportation marked with an asterisk as well as city tours in Bangkok, Kanchanaburi (River Kwai) and Dubai are included (pending availability) in the tour price (Tuk Tuk tour, Buddha and Wat Traimit, Floating Market, Bike Tour, Burma Railroad Tour, Phuket beaches and The American University). In the unlikely event that EA Tours cancels the tour and is unable to operate a substitute itinerary, the tour cost including the initial deposit is fully refundable. Additional items may be offered optionally, are subject to availability and are not included in the tour price. A guaranteed single room may be available for a supplemental charge of $660.00. Included are the estimated applicable governmental international airline ticket taxes, fuel surcharges security surcharges, and associated fees. If applicable, unforeseen tax increases will be billed on a supplemental invoice. A minimum number of paying participants may be required to operate the tour.
