On March 3rd, you will depart Newark to begin your British adventure, landing in the timeless city of London on March 4th to discover the hidden treasures of this city. Fantastic excursions, cultural encounters, theatre performances, preserved historical sites, delicious foods and exotic shopping make this trip exciting and rewarding. Bring these memories home with you on March 12th.

London & Greenwich
March 4 – 7, 2018

Center of the glorious British Empire for many centuries, London has much to offer to visitors in the way of entertainment and adventure. Upon arrival on March 4th a panoramic guided city tour* is planned where you may see iconic sites such as Big Ben and Parliament, including Westminster Abbey*. Linger in Poet’s corner awhile and see the final resting places and memorials for such notables as Chaucer, Dickens, Kipling, Tennyson and many more. After checking into your hotel, you will experience the lively atmosphere of a genuine London Pub*, where you will enjoy some of London’s favorite fare. Begin March 5th with an exciting cruise on the river Thames* to Greenwich for time at leisure to explore area points of interest with your tour leader. Upon returning to London, time is dedicated for visiting museums such as the Natural History Museum, Victoria and Albert, and many more. This evening you may optionally choose to enjoy a ride on the London Eye (complimentary to those who submit their application and deposit the deadline). March 6th begins with a visit to London’s infamous Tower of London* where beefeaters will tell historic tales and where you may have a chance to view the fabulous Crown Jewels. This afternoon visits are planned to The Imperial War Museum and Churchill Cabinet Rooms*. March 7th is dedicated to structured museum visits as planned by your advisor to include a visit to Parliamentary debate (pending availability). This stunning cosmopolitan metropolis offers history and pageantry, museums, theatre, tea shops, the first Hard Rock Café, and shopping at such high-end establishments as Harrods’ and Selfridge’s.
Oxford, Stonehenge & Bath
March 7-12, 2018

On March 8th, you will embark on a journey to the scholarly city of Oxford*. Your day of exploration will include possible stops at such sights as Magdalen College, Port Meadow, Eagle and Child, Oxford University Press, Pitt Rivers Museum, St Johns College, University College, The Queens College, Brasenose College, Hertford College, and much more! This evening return to your home away from home in London. March 9th is dedicated to an excursion to Stonehenge and Bath!! Stonehenge*, an ancient arrangement of huge stones and earth, has baffled archaeologists for years. Later, upon arrival to Bath, enjoy sightseeing including visits to the Roman Baths and Pump rooms*. During your exploration of the elegant city of Bath, admire its Georgian splendor including the famous Royal Crescent, a beautiful avenue of stone houses arranged in a graceful half-moon shape. This evening you will return to London to enjoy an evening at leisure where you may optionally enjoy a theatre performance, shopping at Harrods or visiting one of the numerous churches and museums. The morning of March 10th is dedicated for touring Parliament (pending availability). This afternoon, sightseeing with your tour leader will be the focus, with possible stops at the British Museum, National Gallery, Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, Piccadilly Circus and much more. On March 11th, you will enjoy an excursion to Hampton Court*. Upon arrival, a tour of the palace will include the Great Hall, Apartments, Chapel Royal and Gardens. On March 12th, you will return to the United States with fond memories, amazing experiences, memorable performances and perhaps a souvenir or two from your English adventure.
SPECIAL TOUR CONDITIONS: **The tour price, if payments are made by cash or check, is $2,680.; otherwise, if paying by credit card, the standard non-discounted price is $2,780.00. If you wish to use a credit card for your initial deposit, you will be allowed to pay the remaining payments by check and still receive the discounted tour price. Trip price is based on triple occupancy and includes round trip airfare from Newark, point-to point transportation between cities while in Europe, all breakfasts and 2 dinners. Additionally, *Entrance fees and/or transportation marked with an asterisk as well as a city tour in London are included in the tour price (Westminster Abbey, Parliament Tour, Imperial War Museum & Churchill Cabinet Rooms, Stonehenge, Roman Baths, Thames River Cruise, Hampton Court Palace (pending availability). In the unlikely event that EA Tours cancels the tour and is unable to operate a substitute itinerary, the tour cost including the initial deposit is fully refundable. Additional items may be offered optionally, are subject to availability and are not included in the tour price. A guaranteed single room may be available for a supplemental charge of $630.00. A guaranteed twin room may be available for a supplemental charge of $210.00 per person. Included are the estimated applicable governmental international airline ticket taxes, fuel surcharges security surcharges, and associated fees. If applicable, unforeseen tax increases will be billed on a supplemental invoice. A minimum number of paying participants may be required to operate the tour. A $500.00 non-refundable initial deposit is required to reserve your space on this tour. All tour participants must submit an online application.
