Day 1 Thursday night

Today you depart the United States on your overnight flight to Europe, naturally meals will be served and optional in-flight entertainment will be offered. Please refer to your flight schedule for pertinent details.

 

Day 2 Friday

This morning will delight you with a guided city tour including a visit to Westminster Abbey, and a panoramic tour of such sites as Parliament, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square and Big Ben. On your first evening in the city perhaps you will take a ride on the London Eye (complimentary to those who return their applications and deposits by the deadline). Dinner Included.

 

Day 3 Saturday

Today is dedicated to a morning excursion to Oxford followed by an afternoon to Warner Bros. Harry Potter World.

Depart Oxford after lunch to Harry Potter World! Return to London this evening.

 

Day 4 Sunday

This morning a visit is planned to the Tower of London. This afternoon, you may optionally enjoy visiting museums of choice or a theatre performance.

 

Day 5 Monday

Your last day in London to exploring area points of interest and other Harry Potter sights with your tour leader including British Library and Kings Cross Station, Borough Market – St Paul’s – Leadenhall Market and Australia House, Covent Gardens, the British Museum, V&A Museum, National Gallery, Piccadilly Circus and much more. This evening you will travel to Edinburgh on the evening train.

 

Day 6 Tuesday

You will have a chance to get the lay of this historically rich area during your guided city tour. This timeless citadel is home to spectacular medieval architecture set against the rugged Scottish countryside, and plays host to a colorful local history including Arthur’s Seat. One of the highlights of the tour will be a visit to the stoic Edinburgh Castle. This evening time at leisure is planned afterwards for exploring or shopping along such avenues as the Royal Mile or on Princes Street. Dinner Included.

 

Day 7 Wednesday

This morning is dedicated to sites such as: National Museum of Scotland/Lunch: Elephant House Cafe /Lickety Splits Gallery. This afternoon a3 pm Potter Trail tour is planned after visiting Balmoral Hotel for tea.

 

Day 8 Thursday

Depart Edinburgh for the highlands with a special visit to Glencoe (where some outdoor scenes were shot in the Harry Potter movies) before returning to Edinburgh this evening.

 

Day 9 Friday

Begin today with a visit to the Palace at Holyroodhouse. Afternoon at leisure for last minute sightseeing and shopping. This evening a Literary Pub Tour is planned.

 

Day 10 Saturday

You will return to the United States with fond memories, amazing experiences and perhaps a souvenir or two from your European adventure.
