Friday, June 1st

Today you depart the United States on your overnight slight to Amsterdam.  Naturally, meals will be served and optional in-flight entertainment offered.  Please refer to your flight schedule for pertinent details.

Saturday, June 2nd

Upon arrival you will be met by your guide and enjoy a panorama of Amsterdam as you travel to your hotel.  In the afternoon you will visit the Rijksmuseum.

 

Sunday, June 3rd

Today begins with a visit to the Van Gogh Museum, followed by the Stedelijk Museum and finally the Rembrandt House Museum.  As time permits you will enjoy a canal cruise.

 

Monday, June 4th

Anne Frank House is scheduled for 9:15 this morning followed by your visit to Nieuwe Kerk (New Church).  In the afternoon you will visit Oude Kerk (Old Church) and the hidden Church in the Attic.

 

Tuesday, June 5th

At 8:00 AM you depart your hotel for travel to Koblenz, Germany.  En-route you will have a lunch break and visit to the Cologne Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site.  Following hotel check-in you will enjoy seeing the beautiful Mosel and Rhine Rivers where they meet at Deutsches Eck.

 

Wednesday, June 6th

At 10:45 AM you will board your minibus and travel to Munich.  A stop in Heidelberg for lunch and castle visit is planned.  You will arrive at your Munich hotel around 8:00 PM.

 

Thursday, June 7th

Today you will enjoy your guided city tour.  Additionally, you will travel by public transport to Nymphenburg Palace where you will tour the palace with audioguides.

 

Friday, June 8th

This morning you will visit Dachau, one of the first Nazi concentration camps in Germany.  Upon return to the city you will visit some of Munich’s wonderful art museums to include Alte Pinakothek and Neue Pinakothek.

 

Saturday, June 9th

Additional museums, shopping and exploring are planned for the day.  You may optionally want to stop at the world famous Hofbrau Haus for typical German food and huge pretzels available for purchase.

 

Sunday, June 10th

A wonderful trip outside Munich is planned as you visit Mad King Ludwig’s castles.  Linderhof is located in the beautiful village of Oberammergau.  The highlight will be a guided visit to Neuschwanstein before returning to Munich.

 

 

Monday, June 11th

At 7:30 AM you depart your hotel for transfer to Munich airport where you will board your flight back to the U.S.
