Thursday, January 12
Upon arrival you will be met by your private coach and transferred to your hotel. After checking in to the hotel you will depart for lunch in Times Square*. The rest of the afternoon will be devoted to shopping and sight seeing with your chaperones. A pizza and calzones dinner buffet* is on the menu at Times Square’s famous John’s Pizzeria. “On Your Feet”º will be the Broadway highlight tonight bringing fun history and music to the stage. After the play please make your way toward the stage to participate in a talk back* session with someone from the cast or crew.
Friday, January 13
Start your day with a hot breakfast* at Applebee’s. Afterwards your guided sightseeing tour* will introduce you to such sights as Central Park, Battery Park, Wall Street and Rockefeller Center. Lunch* will be served in Little Italy at La Mela Ristorante Italiano. After lunch you will visit the 9/11 Memorial and Museum*, a memorial built to honor and remember those killed in the terrorists attacks on September 11, 2001. Delight in New York shopping and a visit to Chinatown this afternoon. A group photo* will follow. Enjoy dinner* tonight at Bubba Gump’s. Later you will see the Broadway Play “School of Rock”º
Saturday, January 14
Following breakfast* you will have time for any remaining sights you may wish to see. Lunch* is planned at Hard Rock Café, Times Square. This afternoon you will experience a Saturday Broadway matinee with the contemporary new imaginative musical, “Dear Evan Hansen”º After dinner* you will have the opportunity to see “Something Rotten,”º After the play enjoy dessert* at Sardis.
Sunday, January 15
After a hot breakfast* you will be treated to a hands on interaction with a New York actor and a makeup artist during a workshop at a New York studio*. These workshops will provide you with a fun and challenging introduction to the world of acting and theatre makeup. A deli lunch* will be provided, after which you will board your coach for a ride to the airport and take with you memories of this amazing journey.
**SPECIAL TOUR CONDITIONS: The tour price of $2,198.00 per person is to be paid to Gulliver Academy by check or cash and is based on 32+ paying participants / four students to a room, and includes round-trip airfare from Miami, airport transfers, panoramic sightseeing tour, 3 breakfasts, 4 lunches, 3 dinners and 1 New York dessert as well as applicable entrance fees for group activities (4 Broadway Plays, Broadway Talk Back, National September 11 Memorial & Museum, makeup and acting workshops, and group photo). EA Tours reserves the right to change the itinerary if necessary due to circumstances beyond our control, i.e. traffic, weather, etc. Theater related items (marked with º) are subject to availability (Broadway Play substitutions may be used in the event a play in the brochure is unavailable). The applicable tour conditions are listed on the application, which must be signed and submitted, in order to be eligible for the trip. Included in your tour price are applicable airline taxes and associated fees including the cost of one piece of checked luggage per person round-trip.
