Thursday, June 1^st

Today you depart the United States on your connecting overnight flights to Spain.  Naturally, meals will be served and optional in-flight entertainment offered.  Please refer to your flight schedule for pertinent details.

 

Friday, June 2^nd

Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel with a panoramic tour en-route.  Following hotel check-in and time to freshen up before beginning your guided city tour at 4:00 PM.  You will end the tour at Parc Guell where you will have additional time for photography in this amazing park designed by Gaudi.

 

Saturday, June 3^rd

Using public transportation you will visit La Sagrada Familia in the morning.  Your reservation is at 9:45 AM.  In the afternoon you will visit one of the casas designed by Gaudi.  You will want to take many pictures of these amazing structures.

 

Sunday, June 4^th

This morning you will want to visit Montjuic by funicular.  There will be numerous photo opportunities from both above and within the park.  At 3:45 PM you will transfer from the hotel to the train station where you depart at 5:00 PM for Madrid.  Arrival in Madrid is 7:45 and you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

 

Monday, June 5^th

9:30 AM is your scheduled departure for a guided city tour with entrance fees to the Prado Museum and Royal Palace included.  5:00 PM is the appointed time to meet a local painter, Marta, at the hotel where she will conduct a workshop in fan painting.

 

Tuesday, June 6^th

At 8:30 AM you will depart for El Escorial to begin a guided city tour at 9:30 AM including the Monastery.  Your tour continues as you visit the Valley of the Fallen before returning to your hotel.

 

Wednesday, June 7^th

This morning you will visit Reina Sofia.  The remainder of the day is free for exploration and photo ops with Mr. Kraus.  At 5:30 PM you will depart the hotel for transfer to Madrid airport to board your 8:15 flight to Lisbon.  Upon arrival you transfer to your Lisbon hotel.

 

Thursday, June 8^th

At 9:30 AM you begin your full day guided city tour including St. George Castle, Jeronimos Monastery and Belem Tower.

 

Friday, June 9^th

A 4:00 AM departure is planned for your transfer to Lisbon airport where your flight departs at 6:55 AM.
