Upon arrival to Rome you will enjoy a visit to Ostia Antica, Rome’s ancient seaport, before checking in
to your hotel. Spend this evening at leisure exploring with your tour leader to such sights as the Trevi
Fountain and the Spanish Steps Dinner Included.
Wednesday, June 21, 2017
Begin today with a guided panoramic tour of Rome including the Colosseum and Forum. Afterwards
you will enjoy a guided tour of the Vatican Museums including St. Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine
Chapel. Spend this afternoon for last minute shopping or sightseeing to churches and museums of your
choice, such as San Pietro in Vincoli, San Clemente, the Pantheon and much more.

Today you will depart Rome for Florence with a visit to Assisi including St. Francis Basilica along the
way! Upon arrival to Florence you will spend this evening exploring the famous markets and the Gold
and Silver shops on the Ponte Vecchio after hotel check-in. Dinner is included.

Begin today with a guided tour of the city including a visit to the Academia. Later this afternoon
is dedicated to optionally visiting museums of your choice with your tour leader.

Depart Florence for a full day excursion to Siena, famous for its Cathedral, and San Gimignano, where
you will want to visit the Town Hall and Great Tower!

Bid farewell to Florence as you travel to Padua!! Dedicate this afternoon to exploring Padua with
a guided tour of the city including the Basilica of St. Anthony, built in 1232, and the Scrovengi Chapel.

Dedicate today for an excursion to Venice by train!! Upon arrival, you will enjoy a guided city tour
including the Doges Palace and St. Marks Basilica. After lunch, explore area points of interest with your
tour leader such as the Peggy Guggenheim Museum or optionally enjoy a Gondola ride if you wish (free
to those who submit their application and deposit by the deadline).

This morning you will depart Padua for an excursion to Vicenza and Verona. Begin today with a
fascinating visit to the Teatro Olympico in Vicenza before continuing to Verona. Spend the afternoon
enjoying a guided city tour including Juliet’s balcony and Roman arena before returning to Padua this
evening. Farewell Dinner.
