Your Itinerary

You will depart on February 23rd for 12 wonderful days of travel and sightseeing that will make this sojourn through Europe both exciting and rewarding.  Enjoy fantastic excursions, cultural encounters, historical sites, delicious food, great shopping and personal discovery.  When you return on March 6th, you will bring home many fond memories of your incredible journey.

Paris

February 24th – 27th

On February 24th you will enjoy a guided city tour*.  The next morning you will travel to Chartres where you will tour Chartres Cathedral* upon return to Paris you will visit the Louvre* (world’s largest art museum).  In the evening you will optionally ascend of the Eiffel Tower (free to those who register and pay the deposit by the due date). Dedicate February 26th to visiting Saint Sulpice* and Sainte Chapelle*, with your tour leader followed by time for shopping.  On February 27th you will board your train to Geneva, Switzerland.

 

Geneva and Worms

February 27th – March 2nd

Following hotel check-in, you will begin the afternoon with a guided walking tour*.  You will see beautiful Lake Geneva.  February 28th is dedicated to a John Calvin tour*.  Some of the sites that you will see include the Reformation Wall, Calvin Auditory, Jet d’Eau Foundation and Saint Pierre Cathedral*.  On March 1st you continue by train to Worms.  During your guided city tour* you will see the Memorial to the Reformation, the Church of the Holy Trinity and Worms City Museum* where you may see a copy of a Luther Bible.  On March 2nd you continue to Erfurt.

 

Erfurt and Wittenberg

                                                      March 2nd – March 4th

Highlights of your afternoon walking tour* of Erfurt will include St. Mary’s Cathedral, the Church of St. Severus and the Augustinian Monastery*.  Wittenberg is your next destination as you arrive by train.  The afternoon guided city tour* will include Lutherhaus, Hundertwasser Schule, Stadtkirche and Schloss Kirche*.  On March 4th you travel to your final destination, Berlin.

Berlin

                                                            March 4th – 6th

A guided city tour* is planned as you travel to your hotel.  You will see the impressive and symbolic Brandenburg Gate. On March 5th you tour the Checkpoint Charlie Museum* near the remnants of the Berlin wall and, pending availability, you visit the Reichstag, * meeting place of the German Parliament.   On March 6th you bid Europe good-bye as you board your return flight to the U.S.

 

SPECIAL TOUR CONDITIONS: **The tour price, if payments are made by cash or check, is $3,499.00; otherwise, if paying by credit card, the standard non-discounted price is $3,599.00.  Tour participation is based on triple occupancy and includes roundtrip airfare from Orlando, point-to point transportation between cities while in Europe, all breakfasts and 5 dinners.  *Entrance fees and/or transportation marked with an asterisk are included in the tour price (Chartres Cathedral, Louvre, St. Chapelle, John Calvin sites in Geneva, Reformation sites in Worms, Erfurt and Wittenberg, Checkpoint Charlie Museum and Reichstag and city tours in Paris, Geneva, John Calvin tour, Worms, Erfurt, Wittenberg-Lutherstadt, and Berlin) and may be subject to availability.  Additional items may be offered optionally, are also subject to availability and are not included in the tour price.  A guaranteed single room may be available for a supplemental charge of $575.00.  A guaranteed twin room may be available for a supplemental charge of $90.00. Included are the estimated applicable governmental international airline ticket taxes, fuel surcharges, security surcharges, and associated fees. If applicable, tax increases will be billed on a supplemental invoice.  A minimum number of paying participants may be required to operate the tour. All tour participants must submit a signed application.  A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is required and will reserve your space on this tour. Final payments are due no later than 70 days before departure.  Updated Tour details (hotels, day by day itinerary, flights, etc.) are scheduled to be released approximately four weeks prior to departure.
