Italy – June 24 – July 3, 2016

Friday, June 24

Today you depart the United States on your overnight flight to Rome, naturally meals will be served and optional in-flight entertainment will be offered. Please refer to your flight schedule for pertinent details.

Saturday, June 25

Upon you arrival to Rome a visit to Ostia Antica, Rome’s Ancient Seaport, is planned en-route to your hotel. Spend the evening exploring area points of interest with your tour leader. Dinner is included.

Sunday, June 26

Begin today with a guided city tour including the Colosseum and Forum. This afternoon you will enjoy a visit to the Capitoline Museum. Afterwards you may enjoy discovering fascinating sights with your tour leader such as the Pantheon, San Clemente, and much more.

Monday, June 27

Depart Rome to travel to Naples by train to visit Naples Archeological Museum before spending the night in the beautiful town of Sorrento!!

Tuesday, June 28

Depart Sorrento for a guided tour of Pompeii before returning to Rome this evening.

Wednesday, June 29

This morning you will enjoy a guided tour of the Vatican Museums including St. Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel. Afternoon sightseeing with your tour leader to area points of interest is planned where you may optionally wish to visit such sights as San Pietro in Vincoli, Castle Sant’Angelo, the temple of Minerva, or many others.

Thursday, June 30

Day at leisure to explore Rome. This afternoon sightseeing with your tour leader is planned to include such sights as the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and much more.

Friday, July 1

Depart Rome for Florence via train. Upon arrival you will transfer to your hotel for check in, followed by afternoon sightseeing with you tour leader where you may enjoy visiting the leather and straw markets and the famous gold and silver shops along the Ponte Vecchio.

Saturday, July 2

This morning you will enjoy a guided tour of the city including the Academia. Later this afternoon time is dedicated at leisure for visiting optional museums of your choice such as the Uffizi, Bargello, and other famous sites such as the Duomo, Pitti Palace and much more. There will be ample time allowed for last minute sightseeing and shopping for souvenirs before returning home the next day.

 Sunday, July 3

Check out of Hotel. This concludes Tour arrangements included in the tour price arranged by EA Tours.

Nine participants will depart Florence for your flight back to the United States, taking with you unforgettable memories of your journey.
