Saturday, August 22nd

Today you depart the United States on your overnight flight to Europe. Naturally, meals will be served and optional in-flight entertainment offered.  Please refer to your flight schedule for pertinent details.

 

Sunday, August 23rd

Upon arrival to Prague you will be met and transferred to your hotel.  Following hotel check-in you will explore the hotel neighborhood with your tour leader before dinner at a nearby restaurant (included).

 

Monday, August 24th

At 9:00 am you depart the hotel for a guided city tour including Prague Castle.  Some of the places you will see include Wenceslas Square, Charles Bridge and Old Town Square.  Your afternoon is free to enjoy this beautiful city on your own.  Your tour leader will have suggestions and help with logistics.

 

Tuesday, August 25th

A 9:00 am departure is planned for your transfer to Bratislava.  Following hotel check-in you will begin a guided walking tour of the old town.  Your evening is free to enjoy this old Slovak town resting along the Danube River.

 

Wednesday, August 26th

Following a leisurely breakfast you depart Bratislava at 10:00 am.  You will arrive to your Budapest hotel around 2.00 pm and have time to rest from you travels or explore with your tour leader.

 

Thursday, August 27th

This morning you will experience a guided city tour including Mathias Church and Fishermen’s Bastion.  Your afternoon continues with your tour leader.  Shopping, enjoying a thermal bath or visiting museums are all possibilities.  At 7:15 pm you depart for the pier where a buffet dinner on board your Danube cruise boat is scheduled.

 

Friday, August 28th

At 9:00 am you depart your hotel for travel to Vienna.  Your tour leader will introduce you to this beautiful city.  If you wish to attend an evening Mozart concert, the Vienna Opera or other programs, your tour leader will help you with  tickets and logistics.

 

Saturday, August 29th

Today a guided city tour and visit to Schonbrunn Palace is on the itinerary.  Vienna is a city of music, beautiful architecture, delicious food, great museums and gardens.  Enjoy as much as you can.

 

Sunday, August 30th

At 9:00 am you depart Vienna for transfer to Salzburg.  Upon arrival to the hotel you will store your luggage, have time for lunch (not included) and begin a guided walking tour at 2:30 pm.

 

Monday, August 31st

Today you will be picked up at the hotel for an excursion to Berchtesgaden, Hitler’s mountain retreat, and Eagles Nest, which was the southern headquarters of the Nazi party.  Upon return to Salzburg you will optionally enjoy a wonderful Mozart dinner concert at the oldest restaurant in Europe.  St Peter Stiftskeller restaurant began serving in the year 803 (free to those who registered for the tour by the due date).

 

Tuesday, September 1st

A 10:00 am departure is planned for your travel to Munich and guided city tour before hotel check-in.  Tonight you will have a delicious typical German dinner at the Ratskeller.

 

Wednesday, September 2nd

Early this morning you transfer to Munich Airport where you board your return flight.  Please refer to the flight schedule for details.
