Greece Adult Tour & Cruise with Carol Rice
Friday, September 18th
Upon arrival to Athens you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day will be spent exploring Athens with your tour leader.
Saturday, September 19th
At 9:00 AM you depart the hotel for a walking tour including entrance to the Acropolis, Acropolis Museum and Agora. You can optionally visit the National Archaeological Museum in your free time.
Sunday, September 20th
At 9:00 AM you will depart the hotel for Delphi. There will be time to shop and have lunch before you meet your guide at 1:00 PM. Following your guided visit you will return to Athens.
Monday, September 21st
Today is a free day in Athens. You may choose to visit more museums, shop, take the funicular to the top of Mt. Lycabettus or just enjoy the people of Athens, good food and good wine.
Tuesday, September 22nd
At 9:00 AM you depart the hotel for a guided visit to Mycenae and a stop in Epidaurus before you arrive in Olympia. Included are the entrance fees to the Theatre of Epidaurus, Mycenae and Treasury of Atreus.
Wednesday, September 23rd
At 9:30 you meet your guide and tour Olympia. Following the tour you will enjoy a wine tour and lunch at the Olympia Land Winery. The afternoon is free in Olympia before your 7:00 PM visit to Agriturismo Magna Grecia for dinner, olive oil and wine tasting.
Thursday, September 24th
Today you transfer to Cape Sounion. Your entrance is included to visit the site of the Temple of Poseidon. Following your visit you will arrive at your nearby hotel.
Friday, September 25th – Friday, October 2nd
This morning you transfer to the port where you board your cruise ship and begin the 7 night Iconic Aegean Cruise. Your ports of call include Istanbul and Kusadasi in Turkey and the Greek Islands of Santorini, Crete, Rhodes, Symi, Chios and Mykonos.
Friday, October 2nd
You will be met at the port and transferred to Athens Airport where you board your return flight to Atlanta.
