Today visits are planned to the Vasa Museum, built around the world’s only surviving 17th century warship, and the Skansen Museum, the oldest open air museum in the world!

This morning you will depart for a day excursion by boat to the Viking town of Birka, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here you will travel back in time to the age of the Vikings in the first city in Sweden.

Today begins with a train ride to Oslo! Upon arrival you will be welcomed with a guided tour of the city including such fabulous sights as the New Opera House, Royal Palace, City Hall, Karl Johans Avenue and Frogner’s Park. Dinner is included tonight at your hotel.

Monday, July 11, 2016

An excursion to the awe inspiring Oslo Fjord is planned for today. This afternoon you will return to the city with ample time to explore the city on your own.

Today is reserved for last minute exploring or shopping for souvenirs before departing for Copenhagen in the evening on an overnight ferry. A dinner buffet aboard the ferry is included tonight.

Wednesday, July 13, 2016

This morning you will arrive in Copenhagen!! Upon arrival  you will enjoy a guided tour of the city. During your tour you will see such sights as the National Museum, Christiansborg Palace, Amalienborg Palace and a stroll through the canal district. This afternoon you will enjoy a canal tour around Copenhagen before enjoying dinner tonight near Tivoli Gardens.

An excursion to Roskilde is planned for today. You will spend the day marveling at the famous cathedral and optionally visiting the Viking Museum (free to those who submit their application and deposit by the deadline).  This evening you will return to Copenhagen to enjoy a tour of Carlsberg Brewery (pending availability) before departing for Amsterdam the next morning.

This morning a visit is planned to the Anne Frank House. Enjoy the last afternoon of your tour at leisure when you may wish to explore popular sites such as Dam Square, Rembrandt Square, or the Flower market, before enjoying the group’s farewell dinner.
