Upon arrival in Paris you will be treated to a panoramic city tour when you will see such sights as The Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, and the Place de la Concorde as well as other important sights this “City of Light” has to offer.  Dinner is included tonight.

This morning you will enjoy a visit to the Louvre, home to some of humanity’s greatest artistic masterpieces including the Venus de Milo, Winged Victory and Mona Lisa.  This afternoon you may wish to optionally visit such sights as Notre Dame,  Musee d’Orsay and much more.

Today is reserved to explore the city with your tour leader. You may wish to view the artists of Montmartre at Place du Tertre, shop at Les Galeries Lafayette (France’s largest department store) or simply relax and enjoy the charm of the elegant boulevards and the outdoor cafes.  Perhaps this evening you will choose to enjoy a Seine River Cruise or ascend the Eiffel Tower to the second level (free to those who submit their application and deposit by the deadline)

Bid farewell to Paris as you fly to Florence for the next stage of your European adventure. This evening is yours to explore with your tour leader and shop in the straw market and open-air market, visit a leather factory or stroll across the Ponte-Vecchio to see the gold and silver shops. Dinner is included tonight.

You will discover the treasures of Florence on your guided tour of the city. The magnificent Duomo, eclectic Ponte Vecchio and more all await you on Florence’s historic streets. This afternoon a visit to the Academia is planned. The jewel of this museum would most certainly be Michelangelo’s “David”.

This morning you will enjoy a visit to Assisi, the birthplace of St. Francis, on your way to Rome. The “Eternal City” and capital of Italy is a magnificent city built on seven hills, and is literally layered with history, one civilization built on top of another.  Your introduction to Rome begins with a guided city tour including the Colosseum & Forum.

A guided visit to the Vatican Museums is planned for this morning, including the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. During your visit you will have a chance to view countless religious relics and treasures accumulated over the centuries. Dedicate this afternoon to exploring Rome with your tour leader when you may optionally visit such sights as San Pietro in Vincoli, Castle Saint Angelo, the temple of Minerva, or many others.

Your final day in Rome is Easter Sunday.  You will visit the Vatican for the Easter Mass, a memory you will cherish forever. This afternoon you may optionally wish to visit such sights as the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and much more. Your farewell dinner is included tonight.
